WOW. We just had the weirdest math class ever. It envolved a teacher and student arguing about sex, people yelling out cuss words really loudly, talking about porn and nudity in R rated movies, drugs, South Park, watching R rated movies in front of four year olds, and lots more. It was....interesting. I'll elaborate later when I get home.

Regarding last night, I would like to say, in my own defense, that I doubt anyone who regularly posts on this thread could stay sane at the mention of Cabaret's pineapple dance.

Why didn't Roots do the Olympic wear this year for Canada? HBC is good, but Roots has done it for years.
Someone on another board I post at who works at Roots posted this a couple of days ago:
Ugh, we don't like to talk about, lol Well, when time came for the bidding, Roots lost to the Hudson Bay Company. But apparently it came down to more than just money. I heard there was some kind of deal behind the scenes and Canada wanted to go with the Bay because it's the oldest company in Canada and their anniversary this year too. But it was a bad decision because the line is not doing well at all there. I've read editorials everywhere about how bad the line is and they should have never dropped Roots. We're still doing the US, but none of the clothes will be sold in Canada. Only online or in American Roots store. However, they made this huge deal with Target to sell their line there too. So that's cool. They put a lot of energy into the American line in designing it. I think we're also doing Great Britain and the Jamaican bobslead team. It just sucks that we're not doing Canada since we make such a big deal about being a Canadian company. Also, Roots makes mucho dineiro with the Canadian Olympics clothes, usually. Oh well.

Roots... I was thisclose to buying one of the hats from the last Olympics. I was in Canada at the time.... damnit, I wish I had bought one.

I'm not a hat person in general. I find I don't like how they look on me, so I've never been tempted to buy a roots hat. I am saving to buy *hopefully* Roots gear for Vancouver, and I really want to go to Vancouver for them too.

The secrets went up at 11:30 last week, although the 2 weeks prior to that they went up between 8 and 9.
