I almost ran a redlight today. In front of a cop.
In my defense, that stoplight is almost always flashing yellow and actually works only a few hours a day during rush hour. I'm not used to having to respond to that light. I've never actually ran a redlight in my life.
I've done some not so good things before while driving... I love coming home for lunch. I can get my Adam fix in the middle of the day
My problem with driving is that since I take the train to work I don't do much of it. Now driving long distances and in the city kind of intimidates me.
Here's an interesting discussion of Rent (movie and play) on a British theater board. Despite the fact that it didn't do nearly as well in London as in NYC, there are some big fans over there. Adam gets some nice mentions.
This board is set up a little strangely - just scroll down to read all the posts and ignore the links at the top.

Thanks! Always good to find more Adam appreciation. I always take it as a personal compliment when other people praise him.
On the subject of driving, some guy on a cellphone almost rear-ended me today. The independence of driving is nice, but I hate the stress of it.
I love it when other people start to appreciate Adam too. Especially if they're people i know because then it was probably me that got them into him in the first place.

Um...last page of the thread!
I've just been looking over the earlier part of the thread. Wow, a whole summer. It was cool to reread.
Ten threads is quite a milestone. Usually we would have worked out who should start the next one by now, but a lot of the usual suspects aren't around. I think Canadian Snowbird had some sort of list...
Angela-It's a really good school. I love it there, even though I don't (and probably will not) go to school there. I was born in Ann Arbor though, and my dad went there, so it hold a special place in my heart.
I was just thinking that it's kinda exciting that we'll be starting #11. I joined here towards the end of number 3, so that's 7 threads since January!!!!
This has only been my 2nd thread. It does feel like ages ago when I joined it. I can't believe luvtheEmcee has been here for all of the threads. That's just a little bit more than 2 years.
I would love to stick around to see (possibly) the birth of the new thread, but I don't think I can. I have to get up early tomorrow. I can't believe that I've been in school for a week already. It's kind strange to think about it.
I can't believe it took so long to get through an Adam thread.
It's been kind of a slow summer, compared to all the drama before. Those threads after Rent came out went amazingly fast.
ETA: Emcee and Sweetestsiren have suggested I start the next thread... if we ever get to it.

Yay, Chloe! It's an awfully slow night for the end of a thread.
*helps get there*
I don't even remember the first Adam thread I posted in. I just jumped in one day (and kind of scared some people in the process, if they remember ). I read it from time to time, but since I already talked to many of posters in this thread, it was just a formality.
I remember right after they changed the max-post limit to 5000, we went through an entire thread in the matter of a few weeks. On that note, maybe everyone should keep "decorating" to a minimum in the new thread.
Yes, that's what I was thinking. When the first thread ended it was quite suspenseful and celebratory, but after nine more we've gotten sort of blasé. And the end of a thread wasn't automatic then, and we kept going for quite a few posts after 25.000.
Even Adam is here to toast the end of part 10!
