Ha, good choice! I'm sad I won't be able to go, as we're actually going to be in the city that day. At the airport.
When do classes start?
I've been helping my mother lift things at her work all day and it NEVER ENDS. She's really unspecific about what she wants me to do, then she leaves me for half an hour. Then, when she gets back, she yells at me for not doing enough stuff the right way. Gawd, what I'm willing to do to get to NYC!
Ugh, that's no fun. I've had similar experiences. I hope you get to NYC, though.

For me, classes start the day after Labor Day.
Atrias, are you going to college this fall? I'm sorry, I don't have everyone's ages down...

Elphie, what a shame. So near and yet so far.
Atrias, sorry you're having so much trouble. Maybe she should write it all down for you.
Thanks, Chloe, but there's really no way it would work, considering our flight out is at 4:30. Meanwhile, our flight to New York is leaving in a few hours. I'm feeling like we should be leaving to get to the airport right about now.
College is next year. Senior year this year! I'm getting to NYC to see the last performance of Sweeney. I basically had to grovel and promise to do anything before Mom would let me go.
I completely know what you're talking about. I had to do that to go to the Rent/TTB/Adam Grove Concert in L.A. because it was so out of the way. And my mom completely holds me to it. I've had to run nearly all her errands since we got back.
And yup, I'm still in high school, Lexi. Unfortunately. I'm going to do everything in my power NOT to go to college here.
It has been a great summer, thanks Chloe. I wish it didn't have to end. But on the bright side, I finally got all the blond dye out of my hair from Chicago. I'd never hear the end of it if I arrived at school as a blond.

Are you thinking of going to college in NYC?
Larry Edoff has put up a few pictures on his site. This one is of Tracie and Wilson with Adam in his dressing room. It was sweet of them to go to the show.

Aw, problems with the flash!
Thanks for the picture Chloe! Too bad Adam & Wilson have their eyes half closed. I love Tracie's skirt. =P
Here's another, of some autograph signing.

Hah, love the security guard. Those crazy girls and gay guys!
So, I'm poking around Larry's website and it would seem that the title of the love song is simply "Cybele," but then, the website also lists "Maybe This Time" as "Cabaret."
Adam and his closed eyes *hee* I do that too whenever someone takes a picture with a flash.
A nice little crowd, isn't it? I think Larry was taking those titles from what they were called on the [unspeakable] site he was linking to. They aren't his own videos, but stuff that has been posted elsewhere.
I've been doing quite a bit of poking around myself, and on Whatsonstage, a British theater site, someone listed Adam's London performance in Rent as one of the ten best male performances s/he had seen in thirty years of theater going.

I was under the impression that those video had been specifically uploaded to that site FOR Larry's website. Unless the person is just a huge Larry fan, there's no real reason why someone going to an Adam Pascal show would record Larry's song on both nights, plus an intro to it. The website did the same thing with the spring shows.
Yes, you're right, that person has only posted stuff from their shows. Maybe it's a friend of his, who may or may not know the real name of that song. I guess we'll find out what it is someday...
One more page til part 10 ends!
Lexi- I thought the same. Like the person is a promoter of their tours or something like that.
one more page... wow, adam's lucky he's got a fence separating him in that second picture. they all look ready to jump him. I guess that's what the security guard is for. When I met him it turned into quite a mob, and I could hear people saying, "I just want to touch him..." Adam just ignored the security guard, though. Probably because he'd been having quite the argument with him.

You're talking about the Rent/TTB show, right, Ariella? The "I just want to touch him" line sounds a bit creepy, although I'm guilty of wanting to be essentially in his lap in the front row at Queens, so I probably shouldn't talk.
It's hard to imagine what it must be like to have a bunch of strangers trying to paw you. Ariella, you overheard some of that argument, right? It sounded like Adam wanted to sign autographs and the security guards were against it.
