There are some actors on the board, maybe he figured you were one of them.
ETA: I would expect someone with a bear-biting av to get some weird PMs...

LMAO. I've never gotten a PM about any of my avatars, but of course I've probably jinxed myself by saying that and some foot fetishist is typing one up right this second :-P

Don't worry, I think my username has possible Asian porn connotations, especially considering most on a Broadway board probably doesn't know too much about 90s alt-rock.
*will not check Urbandictionary to see if Lexi is right*
Ha, Lexi. Actually, I haven't gotten any weird PMs while I've had this avatar.
I was only kidding anyway. Which avs did you get weird PMs about?

To the Girl at Starbucks in the drive thru who didn't listen to me when I ordered,
You suck. Thanks a lot for letting me spend $5 on a drink I can't stand. Good times.

I got a few for the picture of Adam kissing Julia Murney, but that's expected.
No worries, Lexi:
1. siamese dream
The best rock album of all time
Siamese Dream is better than you.
I've gotten many of those PMs. It's sad, sometimes I wish I *were* my avatar. Let's just say "mucho masturbation"
I loved GH "back in the day." Mid-90s, though I watched through the late 90s. Sonny and Brenda were my favorite, always hated Jax, but I also loved Ned & Lois, Stone/Jason & Robin, Kevin & Lucy, etc. Then they had those amazing stories--Stone's AIDS, Monica's breast cancer(And who doesn't love the Quartermaines? Or I don't know what's going on with them but last I watched...), and BJ's heart story.
I absolutely adored Jonathan Jackson. I think right before his "death" was around the time I stopped watching.
Sarah Brown was amazing. Talk about your love-to-hate characters and awesome actresses.
And how friggin awesome were the Nurses' Balls?
er, even if you *were* that Gerry, or just anyone that hot, I'd hope that you wouldn't be attracted to yourself, because that's weird.
Tell that to Adam

Oh! I met Rick Hearst (Ric) and Laura Lee Bell (I forgot what soap she is on, Y&R maybe) a few months ago, in case any of you soap fans care.
Finally home from work and can discuss GH!
I MISS THE NURSES' BALL! My Mom watched all of the ABC soaps since before I was born. So whenever I was home from school I'd watch out of boredom. The only thing I looked forward to was the Nurses's Ball. I wish they'd bring them back.
I remember walking into the room and watching the day Stone died. I hadn't seen the show so I had no idea who the character's were and my mom tried to fill me in real quickly. (it was funny watching her try to explain to me that they had sex and Robin got HIV) So anyhow, not having been emotionally invested in the characters I was surprised at how I just sat there bawling like they were my relatives or something. So every once and I while I'd watch it and Jonathan Jackson (1st Lucky) quickly became my favorite. Then I heard at school that he 'died' in a fire so I started taping it. I was a freshman in high school, I think. I was depressed the whole week because I'd come home from school and cry for Luke, Laura, and Elizabeth. Then on Friday they showed he was still alive and I was so relieved! lol So then I told myself I'd watch just to see how the characters handled it. I always hated the concept of soaps so I didn't want to become addicted. Sure enough, I was caught up in all the other storylines. And here I am! about 8 years later I still tape (well, TiVo now) it religiously.
I saw a bit of Sarah Brown (1st Carly) every now and then. I remember Tamara came on when she arranged to turn Sonny into the Feds. I was like 'oh yeah, great way to make the fans like her!' I forgot about the 3rd Carly (Jennifer Bransford) I didn't like but I was so sick of the character being recasted. Laura is definately better than Jennifer, but I'd rather have Sarah or Tamara.
Amber Tamblyn was great as Emily. (Broadway trivia- her dad is Russ Tamblyn who was Riff in the West Side Story movie) I grew to like Natalia Livingston, though.
Steve Burton (Jason) is my favorite... mmmm... I hate that he stopped taking off his shirt for love scenes though (I heard it was out of respect for his real-life wife)

To get back on-topic:
I have a few clips on megaupload from Adam's concert in Indiana. I didn't post them because I didn't think it was ok to, but since the myspace videos have been posted without any objections I'll share mine. Let me know what you think.
VIDEO 1 -- Adam discussing what the show will be like

VIDEO 2 -- Adam describing Aida's "Tech Week"

VIDEO 3 -- Adam introducing and singing part of "Maybe This Time"

VIDEO 4 -- End of "Maybe This Time" (ignore me squealing, I was really into the song, lol) and Adam introducing and singing part of "Maria"

VIDEO 5 -- One Song Glory (the mic cord falls off, it's pretty funny) and part of What I Did For Love

Jyn--
Popping out of lurk-mode to say thanks for the videos! They are such good quality! I appreciate that the clips include the intros before the songs and talking bits. Those are hard to find as most people only record the songs (same goes for Anthony's appearances). So thanks again!!
I will be so happy when I'm finally finished with this stupid english paper! It has to be 4 pages and 5 paragraphs double spaced. I've already typed 2 paragraphs and I'm not even on the second page yet! GRRRR!!!!! I feel like being sick tomorrow.

Backing up a bit... thanks, skittles. In retrospect, I wish I would have chosen on another screenname because no one knows what it's a reference to, but it really is an awesome album, and I'd recommend it to anyone regardless of what genre of music you usually prefer.
Anyway, this is a bit of a silly post, but I thought it would cheer up Em a bit.
Aaaand... Raul's pose.

So...Raul's face is pretty much priceless in the last one. Where'd the pics come from?
*SNORT*
Oh my God, RAUL. hahahahaha.
As if the sunglasses weren't silly and ridiculous enough... giggly boy!
I wish Julia would go back to that hair color.
Adam looks good in sweatpants.
Great pictures - what's that looped all over Adam?
I love how Adam is dressed like a total bum in his sweatpants and wifebeater. And for once, I'm not being sarcastic- he looks *really* good like that.
See, even Raul thinks so!
I think they had to wear tags while they were teching, to be allowed in, or something.
I can't get over Raul! hahahaa. He's er, not hiding very well, is he?

Chloe, it's some sort of a pass or ID. It says "Chess" on it. All the actors involved with the production have them.
I think Adam should ditch the grandpa shirts and just play in sweatpants. He looks like he just rolled out of bed, but it suits him well.
Amber, they're from a certain something we can't discuss on here. Additionally, I've been trying to upload this certain something forever but can't get it to work, so I would have to ask everyone reading not to PM me about this.
I'll try to cap more in a couple minutes. I feel kind of lame, but it's fun.
Rauuuuuuul. Oh dear.
Good luck with it, Lexi. Sorry it's giving you trouble.
That is a rather, um, assessing look on Raul's face.
