Good luck with it, Lexi. Sorry it's giving you trouble.
That is a rather, um, assessing look on Raul's face.
Well, E. has good taste. Ahem.
I can't believe it's so blunt, though.

Thanks. It's no problem, really.
Raul's wrists during The Arbiter? No comment.
You tease meeeee.
His wrists like... have their own personality. Geez, Raul.
I guess Adam's hair is that exact same color now. Or as of a few weeks ago. Could he have stayed away from the dye this long?
He's in LA now, he's probably got blonde hair and implants already.
The last picture made my day.

Implants, skittles? That's a disturbing thought.
Pretty soon he'll start getting botox.
Implants?
I just saw this on LJ -
I have heard about this from someone in the theater business that has followed the OBC since the beginning. They have met AP several times thru the years. Also has met the cast and the Larson family.
Not intending to gossip here but the story as it was told to me was:
AP and Daphne did date for awhile prior to her meeting her husband. She broke up with him and it broke his heart. Not too long after that AP and Anthony Rapp went to an theater event up in New England. It was there he met Cybele and asked her out to dinner.
They've been together ever since.
I'm pretty sure that's the truth in a nutshell.
Actually it was Jesse and Adam who went up to Nantucket for a film festival, but in general this sounds like it could be true.
Chess was just the answer to a question on Jeopardy.
At least it's a normal, feasible story. There was a line in Anthony's book that made me think it was true too.
We must not forget that he probably scheduled his chin surgery already too.
Skittles, that's hilarious. I may just have to change my signature to a quotation that reminded me of.
It's from LJ. Take any "truths" posted there with a freakin' truckload of salt.
Not to mention the "she broke his heart" part sounds not only inaccurate considering how well they get along to this day, but also like a bad plotline at the Rent Cast Fic LJ.

That's interesting, if true. I would imagine that having to do performances with each other after the breakup must have been awkward.
As I've said probably too many times here, I've always felt that The One That Got Away is about Daphne. These lines in particular just... sound like her to me:
You lift me up like a summer breeze
Slam me down so gracefully, you make it look so easy
But when I don't want to be seen
Times when I can't even breathe
You're always air to me

I definitely agree that you have to take everything with a grain of salt, especially on LiveJournal, but I think it's indeed possible to remain on friendly terms after being heartbroken. I don't imagine that it would be easy, and as I said a minute ago, I think it would be awkward to continue to do a show with that person.

No clue about Daphne and Adam, but those pictures are great!
Believe me, most of the stuff on LJ gives me a headache, but we all know there are a *few* people there who can be trusted. This poster sounded mature, reasonable and more like she was trying to set the record straight than gossip. She was responding to a flurry of posts which were all pretty off base.

I agree; I thought it sounded mature overall, albeit a bit melodramatic with the whole "broke his heart" line. Who knows, it could have happened like that, though.
I'll post a few more pics in a minute. I'm glad everyone enjoys them.
I don't disbelieve the story completely, I had already heard they had dated for awhile. It's the whole "she dumped him and broke his heart!" sob story that sounds kind of overly dramaric and editorialized, considering this story is from a friend of a friend of an OBC member.
This is utterly random (but Adam related of course), so sorry this is coming out of nowhere but it is just a cool story I'd like to share:
Yesterday I was at a local health food store with my mom and sister (my sister had to do an environmental friendly project). After getting everything we needed, we headed down to the cash register and I saw "Pascal" on the cover of a cookbook. Then I looked and realize that it was in fact, his wife's allergy cookbook. So I picked it up and looked at it (adorable picture on the back of it of their family, by the way).
The man who was ringing us up happened to be the owner and saw my eyeing it and said, "Oh, that's a great book, their kids have allergies. She and her husband were here about 3 weeks ago doing a book signing." So I had one of those "WHAAAAT" moments. He didn't know who Adam was, so I basically explained to him that he is HUGE in the Broadway community, and VERY talented. He was really surprised and seemed pretty excited, and said how nice Adam was, and how handsome he was in person (his hair is now dyed jet black, by the way).
He also said that Adam let his wife have all the spotlight and just stood back and chatted away with him (the owner). He mentioned about them moving to LA because they don't like the air where they are now, and of course Adam wants to puruse the film career. Where they live now, coincidentally, is apparently 45 minutes away from me.
Anyway, sorry for the utter randomness, just wanted to share!

heh, yeah, I think it is pretty much the truth, but the "it broke his heart" is way too dramatic. I guess it could have. He was apparently totally intrigued by her when they first met.
His hair was jet black a few weeks ago? That doesn't make any sense! They're in LA now, Liz.
It's what the guy said. He had pictures and a newspaper clipping and everything.
