I assume it was a gospel revival on a bus, but I haven't seen it.
I really regret not trying to go to this now. I didn't realize it might be my only chance.

Undi, someone on LJ posted in March (I think) that someone at BestBuy told them Temptation was going to be released soon, but I don't exactly believe it.
The movie's official website has an "intro" to the film that is absolutely hysterical.
Yes, it did indeed take place on a bus. With like, pretty colors all over.
Wasn't it that there was some other movie called Temptation, and there was a big mix-up? I'm so happy that the official website is still up, heh!

Trippy.
"For every marriage I've complicated, for every virgin I've persuaded"
Clearly, the writers were masters of rhyme scheme!
There are a dozen movies called Temptation, and that doesn't include the adult section, so it could very well have been some other one he was talking about. I think the website will announce it if it gets released.
I don't think it'll ever see the light of day.
Ok, bed. Night, all.

Despite its horrific reviews, they could probably make a very small profit (or at least make back some of the production costs) by releasing it on DVD. Even if only Adam's hardcore fans along with the more extreme Michael and Manley (haha, does he have any extreme fans?) fans bought it, it's probably better than the film just collecting dust.
ETA: 'Night, Undi and Em. It's been fun!

Good night - it really was fun.
You may be right about that, Lexi, but I think they have to find a company willing to release it. The producers probably don't have the resources to do it themselves.

I thought they might if it's an extremely small-scale, no-advertising-attached release, but I'll totally admit to having no real idea about the film industry.
I saw a link to this interview on Undi's Wikipedia link. It seems fairly recent and I hadn't seen it before:
http://patrickhickeyjr.tripod.com/adam_pascal_interview.html
It's a bit strange to hear him say that he doesn't think his "Broadway status" had anything to do with getting musical recognition, considering he was so adamant about the fact that it did a few years ago.
It's an interesting interview, and I think what he's saying is a restatement in slightly different terms of some things he said during the tour about how being on Broadway couldn't affect his rock credibility because he didn't actually have any.
ETA: I should clarify that what Adam said is interesting, but the interviewer is not that great.

Didn't he say "it took me some time to realize I had no credibility in the rock community" (or something to that extent) on the 2006 tour? It rings a bell as being from an interview done on one of the earlier stops on the tour, but I suppose it doesn't really matter.
I think it's neat that he came out and admitted (in the linked article) that a lot of the reason why he wasn't noticed in the music world earlier had a lot to do with the material just not being "good enough." I would have to say that's probably quite true, considering what I've heard of APB and his earlier work, although I think a handful of the Mute songs are quite good. Of course, a million other factors enter into getting a record contract other than one's actual material.
Chloe, what did you think was wrong with the interviewer? I think that I've heard a lot of that information before, but I'd imagine less obsessed fans wouldn't have heard it. I noticed a few spelling mistakes, but other than that, I didn't get the impression that the interviewer wasn't good.
I suppose I should probably head to bed as well. My sleep pattern is so messed up.

Yes he did say that during the tour, that's what I was trying to describe in my last post. I think we're both getting too tired, so let's get back to this tomorrow.
Oh, and I felt like the interviewer just didn't express things very well.
Good night, sleep well.
Oh man. If I had stayed up for 5 more minutes... You guys always seem to post the most when I'm not around.
Sorry about that - it's true that the discussion often seems to really get going after what many might consider a reasonable time to go to bed, which some of us then obviously ignore. I'm glad I don't have to get up at any particular time right now.

Real men wear "Cabaret" baseball caps!
I love that he wears his Cabaret hat. In public.
AGH. SO. HOT.

Not sure how I feel about the overall outfit, but otherwise: wow.
*FLAIL*
You can't see too well there, but he had a dark sweatshirt tied around his waist and very baggy gray sweatpants.
He needs to NOT tie shirts around his waist.
In the other picture in an orange tank top, he's got that red plaid shirt tied around his waist. At least this doesn't clash.
