Wasn't it on Bravo?
You might be thinking of Queer As Folk, which was on Showtime.
Queer as Folk was damn good too, until the last season.

Well, one of those networks that you have to pay to get here.
I quite enjoyed QAF.
Undi- Your avatar sacres me. I really afraid of her. I dont even like saying her name. I dont know why.
In my opinion, Queer as Folk is the worst written TV show ever. The last few seasons were so awful that it was literally infuriating to watch them.
It wasn't good but it was kinda hot.
It was kinda hot the first season. Then the bad writing overshadowed the hottness. Then the hottness disappeared because the creators went off on this political rant and lost any semblence of a decent story. The characters all became obnoxious nags and I couldn't wait for it to end.

Morning
Emcee. HOT avatar.
Alex, go back a page or two to see the large version.
Hey everybody I'm swooning over Adam's muscles.
I've seen i few episodes of Queer Eye awhile ago, I enjoyed it. But like Lexi, my family is cheap. I thought it was a pretty good show I guess.
Someone on IMDb did an interesting analysis of part of Tomorrow and the Sun. I've always liked the part of the song that begins "And in her innocence..." and this poster talks about how that section is full of dissonant seconds, but mainly talks about the last phrase.
Me and my other music major pals have a moment of "RESOLVE THAT DAMN CHORD!!!" and get really anxious on the word "again" ("The sun will rise again"). It's what's known as an 'amen cadence' in Theory (sub-dominant IV moving to tonic I).... Adam suspends on top, while the bottom moves to form the cadence... It's dissonance-consonance(bottom moving)-dissonance(Adam moving)/suspension-resolution at very last possible second. AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
That suspension seems to go on FOREVER and it doesn't resolve in the vocal part until the very last moment... (but in the guitar part, it resolves about a full beat earlier...) Adam doesn't resolve on top until the "n" in "again". It makes me sooooo anxious for that resolution just knowing that it's coming...
I know just enough about music to be able to follow that, but never would have been able to explain it myself. I really love that moment.

I have to admit that I have a few issues with that poster, but as she reminds us in every single comment she makes on LiveJournal, she's a music theory major and likely knows what she's talking about with regards to musical analysis.
I know what she's referring to in the song itself, but I'd also have no idea how to explain it in technical terms from scratch. As a non-technical sidenote, though, it really is a beautiful song that I associate with rolling down my windows in the spring and listening to it.
I was able to follow the explaination for the most part, but I could not use any of those technical terms if my life depended on it.
Same here, Dancin.
That poster has a rather aggressive personality, I must admit. Here's how she introduced herself on Adam's board:
I'm a homosexual, nearly 19, but I'm surely old for my age and I was born to be a foulmouth, chainsmoking, alcoholic badass...
At least we know she must really love Adam for his music.

I just watched the video on the Temptation site [haha] again, and I realized that parts of it takes place at 'Urban Archeology.' Long story short--my dad is best friends with the owner of that place. But..uhmm, it's not a "nightclub" it's for building materials, bathrooms, etc. Wierd.
Hey Alex - I wonder if they intended a connection to the store, or if using the same name was just a coincidence. I believe the whole thing was shot on a set, so they wouldn't have used the store itself as a location.

I'm not sure..it's pretty strange that they would both have the same name. There is a store in NYC.
Do you know how long it's been around? The movie was shot back in 2002.

A long time, it says on their site, since 1978. Maybe it has some connection..hmm.. I don't know. It's pretty creative to make up that name for a night club and not research it. It's the first website when you search the name.
Maybe one of the writers was a fan of the place or the name, then. It's not exactly a phrase you hear every day.
To get back to Tomorrow and the Sun for a moment, it's another one of Adam's mysterious songs. His own explanation, which is that the title came into his head without any particular meaning, and he turned it into a fable about the struggle of one day turning into the next, doesn't really explain all that much.

Hm, I never thought it was any more cryptic than the average Adam song. I don't know exactly what he means by the "struggle of one day turning into the next," since there are so many potential interpretations of that phrase alone, but I always thought the song was generally about a woman's love being able to pull you through to the next day when you're having a rough time. I suppose the most common assumption would be that the woman in question is his wife, for obvious reasons along with the "Bella" mention.
Some of the song seems to fit that idea, but what I mostly wonder about are these lines:
She hates today, but wears him way down under
It's underway, tied up tight and on her shoulder

Yeah, I have no real idea either. Heh. I guess I always thought of the "tied up tight and on her shoulder" line as the woman alleviating some of today's pain, but that's more of me applying my own ideas to the song rather than interpreting it based on the lyrics themselves. I think parts of Adam's lyrics are almost too cryptic to decipher without at least a nudge in the right direction, and I'd probably say those specific lines fall in that category.
