Atrias it was just someone trying to get a reaction..
No one seems to be around today..
Well, I'm really busy today, personally. Oy. I just get busier and busier...
I know the feeling Lari.. The only reason I am ever on is because I have internet on my computer at work..
so how are things going at school?
Decently. I'm pretty tired all the time. And I always have something going on, for better or for worse. I joined about 10 activities, and keep running from one meeting to the next. I'm training to be a SafeZone counselor for the GLBT community...
Hectic, Hectic, Hectic.
no rest for the wicked.. and the righteous dont need it.. hehehe
Busy keeps you sane.. or was it insane.. I can never quite remember..
Thats cool about the SafeZone counselor, what other activities are you doing?
KARE hurricane relief organization, Mock Trial, ReadMe Satire Newspaper, Activities Board, Student Dormitory Council films, Eclectic Studies, College Democrats, Phi Alpha Delta (Pre-Law Society), ALLIES (straight-gay alliance), Global Studies house activities, IM Volleyball...
.... *thinks* I think that's most of them.
...Yeah, I'm all over the place.
Wow that's crazy.. You are busy!! I wish you all the luck in the world though..
But when do you have time to sleep?
2 AM to 8:30 AM. On a normal day.
nice.. sounds about right.. the joys of college huh?
Exactly!
Better than the 2:30 to 6 AM in high school.
High school?? that was so long ago it's all a blur..
oy, I agree. 2:30-8 sounds like a TON. ::sigh::
Ah, the joys of tech week.
Oh, and did I mention it's homecoming week as well?

Eek, you guys are so busy! I haven't joined any societies here yet, but I want to do SOMETHING! But maybe just one something, hehe.
I've been blessed with later classes this year. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I start at 11:35, and Tuesday and Thursday is 10:05. Not bad! But I still almost slept in yesterday, gah!
::whines::
I wanna be in college!
Has anyone here ever taken AP Stat? and AP Calc? How to they compare? They tend to push all the people who don't do too well in math into Stat--but what I understand is that they are totally different animals, right?
Ahhh...AP Euro, I really wish I actually worked in that class. I listened to the lectures but didn't do any of the homework because I knew he wasn't going to collect it, he never did. Didn't read the evil text either...Barrons, a kick ass teacher, and being benched the week before the test in soccer got me a 3. His tests were MC questions complied from various review books, all which I had access to...and an essay.
*hits head on screen* Our advisor for Moot Court/Mock Trial walked out on us during our last meeting. This shall be interesting, we have the same law firm mentoring us, but no advisor...and a couple of Seniors on the team were told they were no longer getting college recommendations from him.
I just wish I wasn't sick, it would be much easier to function that way. Freshman gym is hell, and I'm totally incapable of doing even modified push ups. Can I run an extra mile?
I still can't get over that my school is having a pep rally. There hasn't been a pep rally at this school for a decade...at the very least. No football team, no cheerleaders. Pssssh.
Over the Moooooon with a cold, oh what fun. Last night I had a dream...
Aw, that was me last week.
::gives lots and lots of green tea::
What show are you in tech for now NTG??
Our Town.
You my dear never cease to amaze me..
Aw, it's just a high school production.
And it's not like I even have a lead.
For that I am *still* apparently too tall.
::shakes head::
PSH!! Just a high school production.. some of the most talented people I know are high school students.. gotta start somewhere.. And grr to the too tall.,..
Agreed.
I really thought I'd be past that by now.
I am not THAT tall.
That's ok I'm so short that I am often the "child" in the family factor of a show.. Then of course it's a compliment that people mistake me for being in my teens based soley on looks..
**shrug**
I need to do another show.. Like not work on it, but be in it..
I didn't get cast in a show last year because I was "too short", and that made me sad. But then I AD'd and that was fun!
Marlene, I took AP Calc last year and am taking AP Stat this year. Stat is overall easier so far, I think, because there's less "math" involved. There is also less work, at least for me. HOWEVER, I definitely just got a 65 on a test in Stat, so I'm not doing so well. *grimace* I failed almost every quiz last year in Calc, but still had a high B, because he curved our grades. He was a very hard teacher. Calc was the hardest class I had ever taken (since replaced by Bio).
Hello Adam thread. Here's a tiny bit of news - some of you may have seen some recent Getty pictures of Adam with Rosario and Tracie at an event in LA, and I wondered what that was all about. I saw a press release tonight, and it turns out that this was an MS benefit honoring the head of Revolution Studios, one of the producers of RENT. Six of the cast members (minus Idina and Taye) performed at the benefit.
