I'm trying to grapple with this workload. Damn you, IB.

Wow, everybody's having a good night!
Grappling already, nia? Ouch.

It's. Bad.
They dumped all of our long-term assignments on us today and I just about went off my head. Fifteen hundred word essay here, research project there, three textbooks to a class...
Poor nia.
Crappy, Allie. You?

Ouch, Nia! I hope you can adjust!
Sad, Emcee. The summer is now officially over.
Wait, Nia, is this high school? My homework load is awful, too, but it doesn't sound THAT bad.

Elphie, I'm in IB- International Baccalaureate. It's like doing three AP and two honors classes, plus a 150 hr volunteer work requirement, a Theory of Knowledge course and an Extended Essay research paper that's twenty pages long.
www.ibo.org if you're curious.
It's hell in a classroom.
Yeah, IB, I somehow missed that post before. Boy am I glad my school doesn't offer that, because I would be taking it, and then I would be sad. I'm sure you'll do really well, though. Time management is very important.

Indeed it is...
I only hope I can keep everything together.

I think you'll be fine. Just don't over do it! Even though you have a lot of work, you still need to take some time... that's why we're here!
*sings* "Teamwork can make a dream work..."
Yeah, random, but 'together'=teamwork, and...yeah, I shouldn't post when I'm tired. :-P

It's ok, Elphie. I love you.
Allie, that's why I'm here now and not getting a head start on reading Kissinger's Democracy.
Yay! *spreads love*
Urg, that sounds like fun reading.

*takse some love* I need it!
Ooo, I get to read Macbeth again this year! I'm very excited.
Yay, Macbeth! I have yet to read it, but I love Shakespeare. WE're doing comic Shakespeare scenes in my theatre class, and I'm excited.

Highschoolers should NEVER read Shakespeare allowed. They just stumble over the language and miss the point in their monochromatic drone.
I'll second that.
I third that, except in theatre classes, and even then it's pretty bad. My theatre teacher is a Shakespeare genius/scholar though, so it's cool.
But, but, I like Shakespeare. :P And our school play in the Spring is usually a Shakespearean comedy. Shakespeare is hotter than your mom. <3 The sad part is I don't think we're doing Shakespeare in my collage drama class. But I do know certain individuals that just don't have it in them. It breaks my heart.
I feel like dropping French in my HS, to take Shakespeare Reader and Law Seminar, but I think guidance will kill me. But I think 3 foreign languages are eventually going to beat me down, especially Latin. DIE.
Yuck, Nia...I'm not a fan of the IB curriculum. Though quite honestly my school secretly tries to institute a similar curriculum...but you do have an opportunity to choose to be a slacker.
Who's excited about my drama class tomorrow, I am. WERD!
Can't wait to decorate my locker...haha...Adam, Idina, RENT, Caution Tape, Wicked, and Alias all on one nice cold piece of steel.

I never really knew what IB was but I'm now thankful that my school doesn't have it. We do have AP though and a dual curriculum so I have my share of work. aaah, I'm not ready for summer to be over, because I can already think of all the things I want to do that I won't have time for.
Marlene, sounds like a pretty locker. I look forward to putting up a mini rent movie poster on mine - something to make me happy every day.
