Doesn't work for me and I'm slightly upset due to lack of Star Wars on Friday. *storms off to corner*
Wow.... thanks, Emcee. Now I think I'll have to carve out some time to listen to it at work, where I have OS X. That sounds really incredible.
ETA: Lack of Star Wars, nia? What happened?

wow, that is so intense.
Raul just seems more and more facinating though.
Nia, why no Star Wars on Friday?

It's just over. *hugs computer, weeping*
Oh, Raul.
The next time I'm in NYC, I'm definitely going to hunt him down at the stage door and harass him. Wanna come, Emcee?

Did you see Raul in Cabaret, Emcee? He barely talked about that!
Not legally, Ellie. I hate that I didn't.

Aw, so your name 'luvtheEmcee' refers to Adam. Which is still great, of course!
Did you see The Normal Heart? How was he when you met him at the stage door for Chitty? Fab? Were there many people there giving him appreciation?
I remember reading a piece in the Times about him in Cabaret - it was kind of a breakthrough moment. I think that's the first time I'd heard of him.
Too much talk of Cabaret! Grrr!
If there is one show I wanted to see more than any other, but nooo it had to close before I could move here! Grrrr!
Some say he's the best there was. He was truly phenomenal.
The name refers more to the character than just to Adam, but obviously can be homage to my two favorites.
I saw The Normal Heart - one of the most emotional nights of my life. I won't ever, ever forget it. He was so great at Chitty - he signed my TTB poster. Some people there are definitely his fans, and others are tourists and kids who just think it's fun to meet the cast. The night I went, I was one of the only hardcore fans waiting for him.

Was it on your TTB poster that he signed his full name? Did he give you a meaningful look or anything out of the ordinary? I'm sure you must love that poster even more after hearing that interview. Aww, I want it.

Aw, guys, you've convinced me! The interview is loading as we speak.

Hooray! Hi Allie! Nia is also listening to it as we speak/type. She's not really in a bad mood!
Gotta go now. Byeeee! *vt high five*
He came over to me, and I handed it to him asking if he'd sign it, and his eyes got really big. He was like "Sure... where'd you... find this?" He always signs "Raúl E. Esparza," but next to it, he wrote "Jon." He was saying that there used to be one that had their names and stuff on it, but that version sort of disappeared. After hearing him talk about TTB, it means SO much more. I had joked and said stuff like "Yes, maybe he thought I'd forget he didn't play Susan," but now I realize why he did it, and how much the project really meant to him.
YAAAAAY ALLIE!!!!!

*cries* It plays for a minute, and then has to stop for "communication". I'm going to be here all night, and it keeps cutting off Raul in the middle of his sentences!! GAH!
noooooooooooooooooooo!
Argh! It is too much for me!

I KNOW! Should I muddle on through it, or stop? I think it might really take away from the emotional moments if they're interrupted by two minutes of silence.
No, just listen. Please. I promise it's worth it.

Gah! Stupid, slow computer! By the time Real Player is done downloading/installing, I'll be in bed, so I guess the interview will have to wait for tomorrow...
Btw, if you haven't seen it yet, Becky (I'm guessing she's the webmaster of Raul's website) posted on the thread on the main board that there's going to be a video clip of a pannel thingie (don't remember what exactly) up on the website soon. Yay!

Well, I'm about 5 minutes into the interview, and it's been, what? 25 minutes or so since I started? I know it'll be worth it, but I want to hear it uninterrupted!! Damn dial-up. *grumbles*
Yeah.... Becky is one of his two webmasters.
