Hi Allie! Hi Emcee!
I'm here for two minutes, and then I'm off to sleep. It's been a looong day. I hate Sundays.

Oooh, fun! Is it over, or are you watching/listening? (it's online, right? I don't think my dial-up connection can handle that. )

Why did my webcast freeze just as Victoria Clark was about to cry?
Nay. Have a list of reminders, maybe, but an actual speech is tacky.

I agree - although I don't even like to see reminders, or any bits of crumpled paper. These people are paid to remember entire plays, can't they memorize a simple list of names?
Good point. But, no matter who you are (that's right - Raúl, when you win your Tony, even YOU) it's tacky.

Nay. Oh, and Ellie! You hate Sundays? Is that possibly because it's raining on Sunday? Pouring like crazy? Oh, but we get to hide under the covers all afternoon! Because, you know, whatever comes Monday can take care of itself... we have more important things to do.

I wanted DRS to win. Not that I've actually seen any of them...
Who did you want to win, Emcee?
Piazza or DRS. I still haven't decided. Piazza, probably just to break the monotony.

I want to change my avatar, but I don't know what to change it to! I'm thinking something totally different, to follow Emcee's example of a lovely, surprising new picture.
Love me some Boy George.

You know, I was actually in the same city as him in the fall. (Such a big deal, I know... well, for around here, it was!) He DJ'ed at a club, and some of my older friends hung out with him. There was a big article in the campus paper. It was damn exciting!
I wish I'd been more aware of him before I saw Taboo - I saw it so late in its run that it didn't much matter anyway. I'd kill to do that now, though.

I must admit that I really don't know much about Taboo, or Boy George, but he seems really interesting. I've been searching for the cast recording of the show, because it's Raul and Cary Shields, among others. So far, no luck.
You say you're reading George's book? How's it coming along?
