Mothers.
I want my mother to love everything I love, but alas, she doesn't. I show her movies I like, bands I like, etc. - and some she likes, some she doesn't. She'll never love them like I do, because she's a differet person - have you tried listening to your mothers favorite CD, Emcee? Different strokes for differnt folks!
I don't even *know* what my mom's favorite CD is. Her favorite movie is The Sound of Music, which I love, and her favorite "recent" musical is AIDA... which I'm proud to say.
She's actually never *seen* RENT, so can't even say she doesn't like it.

You've got that right, Emcee.
Well, both my mom and brother promised me they'd see it this summer.

Rectify that situation before the movie comes out, Emcee!
And how did I manage to spell to mis-spell 'different' twice in my last post? Silly fingers.
I am. Both of them just haven't gotten around to it, and now that my brother is at the age deemed "worthy" of seeing RENT, he finally can. I told them they were going to need to see the movie, and that if they hadn't seen the show, it would mean nothing to them.

Oops, you just said that...sorry!
Hopefully it will be a great cast when they do see it - it's good at the moment, no?
It's definitely not too shabby.

From what I hear, there's a very talented cast performing right now.

Well, hopefully it'll have the same effect on your bro and Mom that it had on you, Emcee. Or at least nearly the same effect!
Gotta go now - Snaps, I leave you with : Estonia - Tallinn, Latvia - Riga, Bosnia & Herzegovina - Sarajevo. And also E=MC2. There's a test tomorrow...
Toodles!

Funny? Yes, please.
You told me to come back...
Okay, so recently I became a fan of the movie Constantine. (No judgment on that, please. ) And of course in my fangirl-ness I had to look at the comics the movie was based on. And low and behold, comic book Constantine....looks like Adam!
This isn't the best pic to show the resemblance, but you get the idea...
ahhhhh!
Isn't that amusing?
Supposedly he's based on Sting, but I think it's secretly Adam. =p

Oh, that one. I thought you meant the curly-haired chickerdude.
hahaha. That's what I thought at first, you know, since the boy's growing his hair out.
...I 'spose if he kept growing that hair...and didn't have anyone to help him straighten it...and got rid of the...er...orange...
