oh God, I'm on the phone with my brother trying to get him to tape the trailer properly. If he f*cks up this tape, he's going to die.

F*CKING HELL.
He found the tape. I was going to have him get to the end of what was on there and tape it in the correct place for me. So I was asking him to pop the tape in, rewind it all the way, watch the two clips on it all the way through, and stop it when they were over.
There's NOTHING on that tape, and the one he had in his hand is the only one it could possibly be. Everything else I have is labelled, and that is the ONLY unlabeled video tape in my room. The box had a little post it note on it, that said "RENT FILM PRESS" in huge letters.
I don't know how stuff just gets erased, but there's NOTHING on it. I can't believe I lost that.
*cries*

No, he was serious, Ellie. He knows how important this is.
The Access Hollywood stuff is online, but I had the VERY first bit of coverage it ever got, from the NYC shoot. It was like ten seconds long, but that was the very beginning. I wanted to have that forever.
I suppose the tape could be around somewhere, but the poor kid searched my entire house with me on the phone. I probably accidently recorded over it or something - I'm so upset.

Aw, I'm sorry, Emcee. I'm sure there'll be plenty more coverage before the movie comes out, so you'll be able to get all of that at least.

I guess it could turn up... then you'll be pleasantly surprised.
I wanted it to be like those crazy tapes you find on eBay, but something nobody else had.
My mom was just like "um, I didn't touch it. Go away."
Now I want to go home this weekend for the sole purpose of finding this video. Then I'll burst into tears when I realize that it's gone.

I hope this is a mistake and I find it. TGIF says she might have both of them on video... she's going to check. Then she can make me a copy and I can get over myself. If not, I'll go cry in a corner.

It'll work out, Emcee. Someone else has to have it.
It's defninitely not in my dorm.
I'll go look for it this weekend. Thirty bucks on a bus ticket to find a video tape.

Well, if you're this upset, it must be worth it.
I don't believe things I don't want to believe until I've seen them for myself. So, my entire family can tell me they can't find it, and that the tape is definitely blank, but I don't let it rest until I see for myself.
Oh well. I'll figure it out. It's not really the end of the world, I guess. 24 hours from now, I'll be over it. Chitty can fix it.

Are you going to see Chitty again?
I am indeed. With Mickey Mouse in tow.

Oh Emcee, I'm sorry about your tape. I'd offer to try to figure out how to upload my Rent stuff to my computer, but all I have is the thing from Access Hollywood and the trailer.
Hooray for Mickey Mouse!

Yes, he is very cute. And he's going to be given to somebody even cuter.
I think the original AH spot is online somewhere, ballerina. But thanks.

Cute indeed.
I think I'm going to get to bed, ladies (and gentlemen?) At nine. There must be something severely wrong with me.
Good luck with your tape, Emcee, and good night, everyone.
Which reminds me that I need to put batteries in my camera.
'night!
