I hear you.
Weren't you well-rested, though?
Yeah, but when you're walking forever in 95 degrees, that sort of ceases to be the case.

I guess you've got a point there.
All those bodies on the field at graduation tomorrow... I imagine it's rather unpleasant.
eeek! Is it really hot by you, too?

It sure is. Low-mid 90's, I believe. I've taken to sleeping with ice packs.
Do you think anyone will notice if I hide said ice packs in my tux?
Once you start dripping, they might.

You know, it's sort of pathetic that I didn't even think of that.
It's okay.
You know, huge puddle isn't going to look funny.

Well, I'm not the one graduating, so honestly... I'll think I'll go with comfort over beauty.
Fair enough.
It was like 100 degrees the day I graduated. And it POURED, so we had the ceremony in the gym.

Was everyone's hair like, totally a mess? xD
Anything with hundreds of people in a gym = bad news.
Mine sure as hell was. :-P
Everybody couldn't even fit in the gym. More than half the people who attended had to watch on closed-circuit TV in the auditorium.

That's also bad news.
A few years ago, it rained the day of graduation, so everything was moved to the theatre, which seats 1,600. Unfortunately, the class itself was about 900 strong, and the choir was there to sing, and there were parents pushing and screaming trying to get in. Not good.

Did the sun shine the next day?

Leeeet the sunshine...
I couldn't tell you, Ellie. I can't remember back that far. This story is courtesy of our choral director.
It probably did, Ellie.

The sun shone brightly for my graduation. Hurrah. I bet it'll pour down on my wedding day, though. BJ won't be pleased.
I didn't know you graduated! Congrats!

Well, it was a year ago, but thanks!
I'm so confused. I didn't know you were in college!

How old did you think I was? Do I seem immature? Or wise beyond my years?

Wow, I really didn't know people were posting over here.
*joins*
Ellie, you're not mature at all. It's why I love to fake hate you.

Emcee, it's payback for all the confusingness that you mathmatically oriented folk put 2+2=5 people like me through.

Thanks, Nia! Wait...what? You're not mature at all either - it's why I fake fake-hate you.
What lies has Nia been confusing you with, Emcee? You should know by now that girl is trouble!
