Good night! Sweet dreams
I've tried to leave twice now but I keep coming back lol
Well, the "glare" was VERY provoked. I honestly don't blame him.
I know I know I was just using that as an example...
Fourth wall breakage is awesome though! I love it when actors do that...they did it a bunch in Wicked, too, but that was just unprofessional. The whole show was like one drawn-out competition between Kristin and Eden to see who could crack the other up first, which resulted in them cracking Norbert and Randy Harrison up instead. VERY funny but VERY unprofessional.
I always wonder how much of th elooking out into the audience actually is fourth-wall breakage, also. They can't actually see that far out. Maybe five rows. Max. After that the lights turn everyone into silhouettes. So contrary to common stage advice, it's actually impossible to stare at the back wall cuz you can't see it. But yeah, I definitely got a look for crying too loud at Aida...oh well. It wasn't an evil look, it was a really cute sympathetic look. ::swoon::
Awww! Sympathy. *melts*
OMFG!! I know what I'm doing 11.13!!!!
*loud fangirlish squeal*
LOL!

hahaha. when i saw aida for the first time, maya (days) was aida. during the jail scene when amonsaro tells aida not to see radames again, maya was just looking down. i had this 'aww that was not cool' face on, and i was about to tear up. i was in the front row and she just looked down at me. me being stupid and young did a little wave (like a hi!) at her. she just wiggled her fingers back and forth while looking down at me.
HA! That's so cute...Aida was my first stagedoor...I'm really surprised I didn't A) melt into a puddle of goo or B) say something dreadfully embarassing and have to spend the rest of my life hiding under a rock.

oops. you're not supposed to do that?
lol. aida was my first stage door. i think all my tears made a puddle.
She waved! Haha! That's awsome! I haven't had a stagedoor performance yet...Hopefully I'll shall get to meet Adam at the concert Sunday though... ^_^
Guess what? I'm coming to NY at the end of December (I swear I'm not a tourist!) I am seeing Wicked for the first (and last) time and seeing Rent for sure, I can't even comprehend going to NY without seeing it (no of course I'm not obsessed) but I was hoping to add another show or two to my list. It makes me sad, because I would so be seeing Aida if I could
I need help deciding what to see...
I guess it can't be THAT bad... I'll see one more show just for good measure...
Was thinking Chicago but I've read here that the Velma isn't all that great. Also considered Brooklyn, then decided I'd rather not. Do you know of any broadway related events going on from the 19th-23rd of December in that general area? Hmmmmmmm will have to do a little research...
