hahaha!
The first time I saw Adam back in Aida, I was in the fourth row. I squealed, but I don't think he heard. I hope.
Oh he knows Emcee, he ALWAYS knows. He is watching you NOW! *look up!*

Who's in the picture? Its to small to see faces!
I like the new avatar!
I'm impressed, I was gone for 3 hours and you guys filled 3 pages in that time! woo hoo!
I don't have any Adam bloopers. I actually only saw him perform live for the first time this August! I figured I HAD to see him while he was in Aida again and before Aida closed, so I did lotto. At one point Deborah was singing and everyone was supposed to be looking at her (including Adam) but he was standing right in front of me and I couldn't stop staring at him, and he noticed and looked down at me (I was in the front row, directly in front of him). He kind of made a half-smile and then looked back at Deborah. I was so excited, though! So that's my only Adam story.
Hmmmm I'm pretty sure it's not the OBC, but there are so many other Broadway casts and tours that I can't tell who it might be. All I know is that the costumes have been slightly changed, so I'm guessing it was a tour? I dont know... good question! I shall figure that out soon!
hah! thanks
*sits and waits patiently*
awwwwww! Cute story, Elphie. He's so amazing at interacting with the audience... even when he shouldn't.
yes very cute!
Same thing happened w/ me in Cabaret. But he had alot of time to stand and watch. I think he was trying to look for who to bring on stage for the next Act. But i was sitting on the side where he pulled up the guy. But when he was standing by the orchestra or away from everyone else i just stared, he definately saw. I would always look away quickly and blush.
I give up. I'll have to ask the person who made the icon who they are tomorrow. So many possibilities, plus I'm lazy. And yes, Adam is very good at audience interaction even though its always at the wrong times...
LOL! TGIF, like he wouldn't NOTICE you fawning over him. He looked right into my eyes during "If You Could See Her," probably because I was staring so much.
It's not ALWAYS at the wrong times, though. I mean... it breaks the fourth wall, but what's a little eye-contact here and there? He's really good at connecting with the audience for quick seconds. I love that. That's also why I'm so excited to see him connect with an audience when he's actually SUPPOSED to (as himself... I've seen him do it in Cabaret, but that's different). *squeals*
so true Emcee
I didn't mean the eye contact, but things like the Aida 'glare' and fumbling lines in very emotional parts of the shows...
Not that I don't thouroughly enjoy these 'bloopers' though...
Night all.
Well, this isn't AIDA related, but during the RENT reunion benefit in 2001, when he did Light My Candle with Daphne, he forgot his line. He was just staring at her and then came in very late and sort of rushed/mumbled "I know you... you're shivering". Daphne laughed.
I wasn't there for this AIDA show, but once he said "Beyond the fifth element" instead... (before "Another Pyramid"). Nobody cracked up but apparently everyone on stage had a big grin on each of their faces.
