Since we're on the topic of RENT...does anyone think Idina sounds sick on the CD? She sounds REALLY raspy to me...I mean I never noticed before, but now that I've heard other stuff of hers...

Anywho...YAY new RENTheads...lol. I wanna go seeeee it. It's coming here in November, but it's on a school night so I don't think I'm allowed. ::cries:: It's like the week of my birthday, too...actually...it's on Daphne's birthday. Weird. I just realized that.

Shutting up now...Civilian is making me overly hyper. Oh and it got below 60 degrees here last night! That's COLD for us!

I cringe when I listen to 'Take Me Or Leave Me'. Not because it's sounds bad, but it certainly sounds painful to her. I can't recall clearly if she sang that way during the run of the show or just a couple times for the recording, if she did, that's probably why her voice is starting to come and go. For her main songs- Over the Moon and Take Me Or Leave Me, the 'raspiness' works. I haven't heard much else of hers (besides Wicked) except for a music video of something and that sounded nothing like the Rent/Wicked music... she takes EXTREMELY good care of her voice now so it sort of makes up for whatever she may have been doing early in her career

60 degrees? Cold? Where are you? It's funny, but this is my fall/winter in TX, and so far it's only dipped to around 70 degrees at night, yet the weatherpeople act like this is absolutely amazing and we all need to stay indoors or we will die of frostbite. Yeesh.

Florida...we don't have seasons...We have hot, not as hot, and stiflingly hot...and then we have hurricanes, too...

I've read interviews in which Idina says she had a lot of vocal trouble during RENT. And her first CD is raspy like that...it doesn't sound like she did any permanent damage though, so good for her for fixing things...

Sixty is cold for you guys? We get down to the teens or below in the winter and in the high nineties in the summer.

On a different note...I saw RENT today, and Angel has sparkley jeans. I kept thinking of Adam!! Also, when Jeremy said "I'm Roger" I felt nothing! I guess he just isn't Adam! :)
