'Since we're on the topic of RENT...does anyone think Idina sounds sick on the CD? She sounds REALLY raspy to me...I mean I never noticed before, but now that I've heard other stuff of hers'
I cringe when I listen to 'Take Me Or Leave Me'. Not because it's sounds bad, but it certainly sounds painful to her. I can't recall clearly if she sang that way during the run of the show or just a couple times for the recording, if she did, that's probably why her voice is starting to come and go. For her main songs- Over the Moon and Take Me Or Leave Me, the 'raspiness' works. I haven't heard much else of hers (besides Wicked) except for a music video of something and that sounded nothing like the Rent/Wicked music... she takes EXTREMELY good care of her voice now so it sort of makes up for whatever she may have been doing early in her career

60 degrees? Cold? Where are you? It's funny, but this is my fall/winter in TX, and so far it's only dipped to around 70 degrees at night, yet the weatherpeople act like this is absolutely amazing and we all need to stay indoors or we will die of frostbite. Yeesh.
