i agree, adam fits better with the facial hair and lighter hair on top, but I was very surprised at his pretty boy potential.

he was quite good in Cabaret, I got basically the performance from him I went there to see. I didn't go in expecting his character to be at the level of emcees like alan cumming and raul, and it wasn't. And there's no way he was fooling anyone trying to blend in during KICK LINE, being the only girl with muscular tatooed arms struggling to make the dancing look natural. But he did a very good job overall, his accent and acting still better than many, just not as top-notch as his singing. I was there to hear him sing the songs, and he kicked ass on all, especially "I Don't Care Much".

Mainly, it made me really respect his work ethic as a relatively inexperienced actor. He's always getting better and is clearly unafraid to push himself to improve in areas where the inexperience shows.

Well, we all know he can't dance to save his life. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed his performance and his singing... what I would've given to hear it.

he handled the dancing better than i expected. but the KICK LINE thing just felt ridiculous, especially sitting in the tables where it was really obvious that "one of these things is not like the other"

oooh and he didn't do any audience interaction as far as I can recall. but today is his birthday so happy things!

AH! Beautiful pictures. Adam in Cabaret = love. I was impressed. No comparison to the likes of Alan or Raul of course, but I was proud of him.

that's what i was referring to. i might just be blanking out, but I don't think he actually singled any audience member out or brought anyone up onstage. i think he may have just done the "Hello rich people, hello poor people..." thing and told a few jokes.

for my part, my favorite Emcee will always be Norbert in the 1st tour.

Undiscovered, my love, I was certain that we were simply to be two ships passing in the night. I see now that a marriage built on Hunter S Thompson, the Sedaris family, and Pascal appreciation is truly too strong and natural a force to be ignored.

Oh, I was away for a bit so I just saw the Warlow picture. Thanks, Matt! And interesting to hear your comments on his Cabaret performance. As far as him doing the kick line... yeah you can tell which one's him even when you're not sitting very close to the stage

Guys, I need love. I know this is supposed to be a happy day because it's Adams birthday, but I just got into a car accident and now I have to get my car fixed and go to court and basically pay a lot of money that I don't have! I figured you all could cheer me up.
