Insomniak, I have a bad cold and have to sing a recital Wednesday. Praying the cold goes away ASAP, and I am feeling better so hopefully I'll be fine.

OH!! Here's something random!! I finally gained my courage to listen (like REALLY listen) to 'Mother's Child'. So i turned it on and i was like 'ok this is.......different.' Then he got to the 'i just want to watch you die' and i screamed. I was like 'OMG!!!' the i shut it off. He doesn't really mean that right?

lol - I wouldn't expect so much of a "story" as I would a lot of senseless gushing a lot of details that most people probably wouldn't care about. He and I both know that I have nothing constructive to say, so I probably won't say very much.

And no worries - I will sleep well tonight, and I have classes all day tomorrow, so I'll have to eat.

re: Mother's Child - he's talking about a lot of really bad stuff that's happened with kids being harmed in the past few years. He's not saying he wants to watch YOU die.

Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do... RIP Jason

That song scares the sh*t out of me. I can NEVER listen to it all the way through- it just creeps me out too much.

I prefer his happy songs SO much more.

I personally think all his songs are brilliant, but I can see why you might not like that one song.

And darnit Emcee that means Insomniak and I don't have to come shove substantial food down your throat. I was looking forward to going to NY... haha just kidding.

Aaaaah just realized I'm a featured actor now! Sort of pathetc compared to all of you who are Broadway legends times 3 but oh well. Minor miracle on BWW

Mother's Child scares the crap out of me. It's not that it's a badly written song, it's just scary. I remember seeing the title and expecting something sweet and happy... how very wrong I was.

Yay for Glory, though.

It's frightening how quickly the addiction sets in, eh?

Any excuse to go to NYC is good for me, and it's just a bonus if I keep Emcee from starving.

Congrats, Glory! You'll be a legend VERY soon- don't worry!

His songs are incredibly brilliant, just that song scares me. "Book of Endings" "Wonderchild" and "Tomorrow and the Sun" are my favorites that I've probably listened to a 50 times each. "Mother's Child" is the only one I haven't listned to a lot.

So, How was everyone's day today? For me everything was basically the same as always except for the off-season of track started, and after school was an excruciating technicolor dreamcoat rehersal. I think if I hear 'Go Go Joeseph' one more time I might just explode. I have a new respect for anyone who does this show on a regular basis. I mean, It's loads of fun while its happening but I can't get that freakin song out of my head!
