Allie-ooo bummer , midterms suck.. Hopefully you did well. Shopping, that's soemthing I haven't done lately **ponders the idea of sneaking out to shop today, remembers 800 some odd emails(now currently 257) thinks idea not so good** Protest and pitch a fit over Adams cds not being carried! I would.. but I'm a drama queen

Oh, Allie, I totally know how you feel. I went to all the record stores in my town (and they're all big names, too), and not a single one carried CIVILIAN. Oh well-- that's why I love websites.

I wish I had a credit card. I would spend SO much time ordering things online! On second thought, it's probably a good thing I don't have one...
I'm making it my new mission to track down one or both of those CD's!

Same here! It's so good, especially done by Adam.
I love Adam's cover of "Vienna Waits for You" that he did at Kean. I wish there was a recording of him singing that somewhere.

I know how you feel, angel. I've had CIVILIAN for awhile, but I'm just mad that I can't find it anywhere! But all the music stores near me have a really crappy selection of cast recordings, too.

Oh and I coul drant and rave for days at the lack of selection when it comes to cast recordings.. No one ever has anything good! I did finally find a couple at a Tower records hella far from my house..

My dad tried to get me a CD for my birthday last year, but they didn't even have a listing for it to order from! They probably will for Adam, though... Here's hoping!

'sall good.. Just was a touch confused for a moment.. I wasn't sure if something had changed and I hadn't heard yet.. I would have been really upset if they weren't filming here. I have my hopes all up, besides it defeats the purpose of me carrying a spork and silver maker around if the location changes..

insomniak-- yea, I've checked there. My local B&N has maybe five CDS in the whole store, so grrr...
I'm still kinda mad that the RENT movie is going to be shot in SF instead of NYC. Oh well- I hope they can make SF look like NYC, because, if not, I will be VERY upset.

just sayin' hi in between my massive amounts of running around back and forth... classes/meetings, etc.
insomniak - yeah, he did really say that about buying more than one. I was kinda embarassed.
And... SF... who knows? I kind of think he'll just go, do what he has to and come back - at least people here know him... out there, he might be stuck between the same rock and hard place that he was in NY pre-RENT... no recognition and no hope of getting any. I suppose having an actual CD this time will help his cause... eh, I'm just making things up. I want him back home ASAP, too.

Adam is his own shill...
About him in SF, I don't think it's impossible for him to get a gig. I wouldn't expect anything major, just a small venue or two that needs a performer on this night or that. People don't have to know who he is for that to happen.
