You'll be fine!
I hope so, last time someone named the play in the theatre I was almost killed by falling fly rail pieces..

That's scary. I've come close to falling off the scaffold while painting a set and I've whacked myself with crowbars. I share your pain.

whoa that's not safe.
I was in the Scottish play last summer...won't get into that.
My mom just told me that she and my dad went to a guitar store over the weekend to look at price ranges for me for Christmas...and not only is she willing to let me get one, she said there were a couple of Fenders in the price range...
::bounces::
ooh, cool! I got a guitar for Christmas last year. Still haven't learned to play it.
Guitars are awesome! I have five of them (acoustic, 12 string, 3 electrics)- they're so much fun to play! You should definitely try to learn-- it's almost as fun as the drums!
Now I've got "Book of Endings" stuck in my head... Oh well.
I took guitar class last semester, so I have the basics down. It's just really hard! I want to be able to play all of these cool songs that I listen to, but I hate that I have to get the basic stuff down first. I'm very impatient. So it frustrates me sometimes. And I don't practice much now because the class is over and I have so much else to do! But I'm trying to get better!
eta: Diva, you must be really good! How long have you been playing?

dont have a clue how to play guitar.. Used to play piano, but now I'm really out of practice.
Diva, I've played piano for 11 years...am I gonna be able to teach myself guitar from a book, or do I need to get a teacher?
I've always wanted to learn to play guitar - my mom has an acoustic at home and my parents bought my brother a Fender a few years ago, but he can't read treble clef music, so he sort of doesn't play it because he's too lazy and whiny to learn. Maybe I should give it a shot.
I can't imagine not being able to read music...especially and be in theatre. I think I'd die.
He reads bass clef, but it's different. He's one HELL of a musician, actually.
Oh, I got that. It just lead me to the random thought of how many people I know who sing/play instruments but don't read music.
That's crazy! Ok, must drag myself out of this chair and go to class...
::threatens with Spork of Doom::
go to class!
now someone make me go work out...
**puts on scary threatening face**
NTG, got work out!!!!
Back to guitars for just a moment: I can play acoustic and my dad has an electric one which I would be able to play if I was allowed to borrow it, but I'm not, so until I get one of my own I borrow my friend's.
And everyone who is supposed to be doing something else: GO AWAY!
You don't scare me, spork of doom!!
No, I'm good. I went to class, laughed AT (not with) my professor, and now I'm back.
Laughing at your professor? What did they do?
It's a long story. He's just a laughable guy.
Do tell.
Laughter is a good thing.
laughing at people is so much fun! Mean but fun!

ahhhh! You're trying to kill my Adam love!! No, I'm kidding. There is room in my heart for both.
Oh, and my professor... he's just a weird guy who never makes any sense. He's really nice, but that's about all heh has going for him. He confuses us AND himself, which is highly amusing.
