Hello, Ellie!
Ack, it feels like I've already begun my school week since I was there all day today... the whole thing will seem to be a day longer, and those days will feel like years... the joys of tech week.
ah, I remember that. Except, I had a piece of brass plastered to my face for hours.

Sounds attractive, emcee. Anyway, now I REALLY have to go to bed. Sooo... tired... sleep... good... Zzzzzz...

Hi Nia! You do have the holidays to look forward to, and you never know, maybe you'll enjoy yourself. Oh what's the use - it sounds like a looooooooooooooong week. Commiserations!
Night Allie!

Thanks, Ellie! And I always have bww folk to chill with, provided my computer doesn't give out. And there is a very pretty guy involved, so it just might be all right.

A pretty guy involved with school? And how is your computer, not left it in yet?
"Sounds attractive, emcee."
I play trumpet.
'night Allie!

Emcee, I'm sure you look just radiant with a large horn stuck in your mouth.
Ellie, the computer is behaving, my dad may or may not have fixed it. Last night it flickered once, but other than that... hm.
And the pretty guy is playing Jim Morrison in my school's student-directed/written show. He's not just pretty, too, he's brilliant... ok, sorry to threadjack.
rotfl, insomniak. I was under the impression that I ALWAYS look radiant.

You gotta love pretty brilliant guys. Tell me he's shy with no ego! And I'll cross my fingers for your computer!
And emcee, I play clarinet. Woodwind beats brass. Brass sucks!

Emcee, of course, but I was merely commenting on how the sheen of the instrument sets off the red devil horns of a gutter demon...
Ellie, how did you know? Are you spying on me? Are you going to steal him?
shush. We are DEFINITELY better. We can also blow your ears out if you aren't nice to us. :-P
Everyone's shocked to find a girl trumpet player... it's kind of funny.

Pah - the trumpet has like three keys! Trumpets are for simpletons. And you of course. *laughs nervously*
Nia, the next time you see him I shall be draped around him!
*nervous laughter morphs into evil laughter*
'Everyone's shocked to find a girl trumpet player...'
Thats cool, I didn't know you played anything. I can play guitar and some piano (anything simple and/or repetitive). I tought myself to play both so I'm not exactly great, but its better than nothing
Percussion and strings are always fun. A piano/guitar/bass/drums girl over here!
I'm sure you rock at the trumpet, Emcee. I actually know more female trumpet players than male trumpet players, so I don't think that's unusual.
Anyways... 'night everyone.

Ellie, that might not be legal. We'll sue and use the money to buy a nice apartment in my favorite city...
Taught yourself, Glory? How does that work?
'night Diva. And thanks... I love it. And I love being the oddball. People are always really surprised.
'Night everyone!
Nia- I'm so so sorry I took the 5000th post from you and Tiff, I didn't mean to
Emcee- That's cool, I've met just one girl that plays the trumpet. How long have you been playing it?
Broadway Legend Joined: 5/7/04
Aisy, no worries at all.
Emcee, your oddballness is one of your best qualities.
Taught yourself, Glory? How does that work?
Well I know how to read piano music because I've been a choir student for quite a few years now, and its the same thing, and there are plenty of books on guitar. I have my own acoustic but I use my frieds electric one.
I'm very proud of myself though... I can play the Seasons of Love chords and most of the I'll Cover You Reprise on the piano, and Your Eyes on guitar
aw, well thanks, nia.
nine years, Aisy.

Makes sense, Glory. I was somehow thinking that you'd taught yourself music from a book, but picking up an instrument is easier if you've got the backround. I played flute until last year.
nine years?? WOW!! you're a pro!!! I used to play piano but i haven't play it for a really long time, I don't think i could even play "happy birthday" now!

Yay Adam because I'm on this thread, double Yay for oddballs, and double Yay+ for clarinet. Trumpets are for the weak...
OK, 'Night all!
And see you tomorrow Nia, I don't care whether it's legal, or not! Cute, intelligent, ego-free shy boys...I must have them all.
