Hello, my lovelies!! I miss you all very, very much. This computer sucks. That's one reason why I can't wait to get back to university: my precious computer! I hope everyone's holiday is wonderful. We had a GIANT snow storm yesterday, so we were stuck at home... we watched movies ALL day. Down With Love (yay for my Ewan), Serendipity, The Phantom of the Opera (with Robert Englund--the single WORST movie I have ever seen), and Dazed and Confused. I was just reading a few pages back in this thread, when someone was talking about the AIDA karaoke CD. I just got a karaoke machine for Christmas, so I'm definitely going to go look for this when I get back to the city! I didn't get Model Prisoner , so I'm also going to order that. Yay for HMV! Anyway, I have to go. I MISS YOU GUYS!!!!!

Oy that was tough... we didn't even have time to warm up we were so crunched for time. Noday decided to change the way she was going to hold that rehersal and just narrowed it down to 2 girls, and then we sang Elaborate Lives probably around 10 times alternating between the 2 of them. (If I ever had any doubt that I would remember the words while nervous, that doubt is gone because the lyrics are now permanently engraved in my memory...)

Oooh yea and we get head sets instead of handheld mics. We *never* get to use the headsets. ::is happy::

It was a lot of fun. A really great group of people (okay aside from the fact that half of them were the annoying blonde types) and they could all sing the hell out of that song. I'm extremely pleased with the 2 noday picked (Though I'm sorta leaning more towards one in particular), and am anxious/excited to start rehersing because there is so much I can learn from them.

Noday is going to call later and tell me who I'll actually be performing with

Okay. Heres the deal... Noday secretly reorded part of the song during rehersal today, so I have the solo at the beginning to give you. It sounds awful though. The acoustics in the room we were in were horrible, and we were still figuring out the sound sytem (plus it was a cheap recording device) and so my voice sounds all f*cked up. And it was like the first stage test so I was nervous as hell.

But, since I'm trying to get over this fear of criticism thing, you can listen if you want.

I gotta go eat dinner at the moment, but when I come back I'll be in AIM to give it to whoever asks
