Oh, I was!!! A party that includes Adam and us can only be a orgy.
After where our minds went with Emcee's comment yesterday, I am not going to touch this.

QM, I'm not dirty. Only once in a while. Especially... especially sometimes.
edit to add: insomniak, it was something about the fact that they just didn't understand what the whole RENT thing was about. You know, after going through the NYTW production and Broadway with the original cast, and then to work with all these new people who weren't there when the story was developed and couldn't appreciate how special it was. But I don't remember much of it. Sorry.

loved the article - i love my recording of him singing suddenly seymour with mandy moore from best of broadway on bravo - but i don't know if he could pull it off - he'd need some serious make-up, hair and costume redesign he's just to gorgeous to be dweeby seymour
i can see it now - [in an anchorwoman's voice] up next adam pascal and anthony rapp duke it out over who will be seymour in the touring production of little shop - stay tuned to find out who wins - if audrey II doesn't get tem first!"

I entirely understand why Adam would be bothered by people who don't really understand Rent. I want to rip my hair out every time someone says, 'Oh, that had nice music. And that girl in the blue pants was hot'. I can't stand that.

I just have a couple comments. Regarding hitting the "will", I'm too lazy to go back and see who it was that said something about Adam taking it higher than it should be. A friend who can read music and has seen AIDA a bunch of times, looked at the sheet music and said it's written lower than he tries to sing it. In my 15 pages of reading I don't know if that was ever confirmed. The thing is, though, I've heard him sing it the correct way half of the times I've seen it with him in it, so I don't understand why he can't do it all the time!
I'd also heard or read, I don't remember now, that alot of Adam's unhappiness with being in London had to do with the fact that he went there shortly after meeting Cybele. I think she finally joined him out there, but I'm pretty sure that was a big part of it.
One more thing. Did I miss the postings where Undiscovered and QM fessed up to how many times they've seen the show or haven't they told us?

Hi bdwaygirl... So he has sung the note as written sometimes, too? Whenever I saw AIDA he always sang the higher note (or attempted to, anyway). But I've only seen him in AIDA, uh..., several times.

Yes, bdwaygirl, you missed that bit *cough*
