I love it too. Not only is he hot and talented, but he's got his head screwed on straight. (Finally)
Can I have some details about what he said about the London cast of Rent?

In London, Adam apparently did not like anything about the show. I was wondering what exactly he said and when.
"QueenMuppet was definitely serious about the orgy."
Oh, I was!!! A party that includes Adam and us can only be a orgy.
After where our minds went with Emcee's comment yesterday, I am not going to touch this.

Our lips are sealed, Amasis! And do not encourage me in the future!

Wha... Me? Encourage you?

QM, come on... insomniak really wants to hear about London. I only read some interviews, and I don't remember much more than that he was miserable.

Did I miss the part where you all agreed to ignore the question I've asked three times now?
I will acknowledge the fact you asked a question, insom. but I have NO clue what you are even talking about. You aren't being ignored... I am just not informed on all things Adam. Sorry.
We must have posted the same time. But I wasn't there for Seth's Chatterbox. And the interview was from a looong time ago.

That's all I needed to hear. Just say something in your post about not knowing. But you said he didn't like the Mimi or the producers- do you know what the problem was?

hm.....i don't know. maybe they just didn't get along.
I did say that I don't have any London stories , sorry.
And I have not heard of the interview dirty Amasis is refering to.
The Seth's Chatterbox interview is available to buy ... if anyone is interested. Check out Seth's website.
QM
Oh, Undiscovered was the one who brought up Seth's interview, not QM. Sorry.
QM, I'm not dirty. Only once in a while. Especially... especially sometimes.
edit to add: insomniak, it was something about the fact that they just didn't understand what the whole RENT thing was about. You know, after going through the NYTW production and Broadway with the original cast, and then to work with all these new people who weren't there when the story was developed and couldn't appreciate how special it was. But I don't remember much of it. Sorry.

oooOOooo count me in on the adam pascal orgy!! lol
loved the article - i love my recording of him singing suddenly seymour with mandy moore from best of broadway on bravo - but i don't know if he could pull it off - he'd need some serious make-up, hair and costume redesign he's just to gorgeous to be dweeby seymour
i can see it now - [in an anchorwoman's voice] up next adam pascal and anthony rapp duke it out over who will be seymour in the touring production of little shop - stay tuned to find out who wins - if audrey II doesn't get tem first!"

lol, Adamized.
I entirely understand why Adam would be bothered by people who don't really understand Rent. I want to rip my hair out every time someone says, 'Oh, that had nice music. And that girl in the blue pants was hot'. I can't stand that.

I would love you forever and ever. (even though I already do because of the Raul/eyeliner pic) Adam's voice is better than plain text, even though you're a lovely person.

Thanks. It really doesn't take much time over AIM, though, so whenever... What kind of file is it? Say it's not RM, I can't play those.
Jeez, I am so far behind. I just had to wade through 15 pages since I read this thread last.
I just have a couple comments. Regarding hitting the "will", I'm too lazy to go back and see who it was that said something about Adam taking it higher than it should be. A friend who can read music and has seen AIDA a bunch of times, looked at the sheet music and said it's written lower than he tries to sing it. In my 15 pages of reading I don't know if that was ever confirmed. The thing is, though, I've heard him sing it the correct way half of the times I've seen it with him in it, so I don't understand why he can't do it all the time!
I'd also heard or read, I don't remember now, that alot of Adam's unhappiness with being in London had to do with the fact that he went there shortly after meeting Cybele. I think she finally joined him out there, but I'm pretty sure that was a big part of it.
One more thing. Did I miss the postings where Undiscovered and QM fessed up to how many times they've seen the show or haven't they told us?

Hey guys! Thanks for that link to that Adam interview, whoever posted it. I love the fact that he's more open to different roles. I agree with Adam in that they should bring Chess back to Broadway, especially since he said he'd do it. He was amazing in the Chess Benefit concert. Everyone was. That was a great cast. I doubt they could convince Josh Groban to do a Broadway show though. But as long as Adam's in it. What do you guys think? What's he doing next? He didn't mention Tarzan in the interview. Oh, and as far as the Aida after party orgy, count me in!
The thing is, though, I've heard him sing it the correct way half of the times I've seen it with him in it, so I don't understand why he can't do it all the time!
Hi bdwaygirl... So he has sung the note as written sometimes, too? Whenever I saw AIDA he always sang the higher note (or attempted to, anyway). But I've only seen him in AIDA, uh..., several times.

Yes, bdwaygirl, you missed that bit *cough*
