Well QM at least you've seen it live. I wish I could've seen it at least once. But not being in New York, I've seen it, just not live, and somehow it doesn't have the same appeal, but I love it none the less. Don't be ashamed, be proud!

I know... I think all of us who are fortunate enough to see Adam live really appreciate it and I really mean this. I was in the same situation not too long ago when I had to 'fly in' to see Adam perform, so I know what it's like....

Wow - I've apparently missed a lot.
I posted my thoughts about the interview on the Broadway Board, so I'm just bumping up the Adam love, since I get to see my boy in just a few days!

Peter Pan!
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

lol! I am having fun so far... I met a really, really big Adam fan. I think we're seeing Aida on Friday, so yay for that!
Talk to you all later - e-mail or PM me (or call if you know the number - I could use to hear some familiar voices) if you want me... hell, come visit if you're in the area! I probably can't get onto instant messager until tomorrow, so until then... I'll be on and off.
Much love... <3

Happy birthday, NTG!
I'm worried about the hurricane, though... I will be watching the news. Stay safe.

Uh-oh. Remain calm, NTG. I'll kick my ass through any hurricane to save you.

So... people seem divided. Is Adam Pascal a jerk in the bway.com interview or not? I don't think so, but others differ.

I know, I must have read a different interview as well. I don't think he comes across as a jerk at all and I'm a very critical person. Self-confident, yes, but's wrong with that???

Yeah, I was reading the other thread. Most people already commented by then, so I decided there was no need to add. It's to be expected though. Any person who has the level of self-confidence he has will rankle some feathers. Being as blunt as he is, I'm guessing he knows that sometimes he pisses people off. And I'm guessing he couldn't care less.
I didn't think he came across as being a jerk. But I personally like it when people have a no-bull**** attitude, in general. Not rude, mind you. Just no sugar-coating.
