Shubenacadie Sam, Nova Scotia's groundhog, saw his shadow. 6 more weeks of winter.
But in Ontario, both of their groundhogs DIDN'T see their shadows, which means spring comes soon.
Aww! Pennsylvania's groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, got booed by 2000 people when he saw his shadow. Poor guy, he's going to have self esteen issues now!

Gah, I dont want 6 more weeks of Winter..
It was in the 70's here yesterday.. It's flip flop weather.. But it will get cold again as soon as I dress for the warmer weather.

It's only -3 (celsius) here today. That's beautiful compared to some other days...
But there's still SO much snow! When I walk down the sidewalks, the snow is up to my waist on both sides at some points.

Call me crazy, but sometimes I miss the snow.. I love the t-shirt and flip flop weather year round, but at the same time seeing the seasons change is something I miss..

Yeah, I love the snow when it first comes down hard and there's a beautiful sparkling blanket over everything! Hehe--I love making snowmen so I just hope it snows a little bit one more time so I can make one
But after all the yucky slush in the streets, we all can't wait for spring again!

Posted: 2/2/05 at 2:33pmIt's this in-between-cold-and-warm weather that's the hardest to dress for. It's still slippery out, because of the slush, but the only good tractioned shoes I have give me blisters. My beloved clogs are out of the question. And it's too warm for my coat, but too cold for just a sweater. Grrr, come on spring, you can do it!

When I was little I was playing on a snow bank outside my house and I sunk, my older brother had to pull me out. My snow boots stayed and we couldnt' get them.. they stayed there till the snow melted..
then there were all the years I spent in an ice arena.. I miss those days too..
