The tongue is amazingly good.. a little tender, but it deosn't hurt. It is swollen moderately but I can still sing and still talk just fine so it's all good.. love thread lull

Yay for second holes in your ears.. I got my second hole in my ears in 2nd grade.. man that was forever ago.. I guess that should have been a clue how I would turn out.

I'm glad you're not feeling too bad, Cam.

What would this thread be without the inanimate objects?

I've been thinking about my Rent experience last night, and have maybe come to understand why there's been a lot of anxiety about the movie. One of the show's most important themes is community, and expressing that theme automatically becomes a lot easier when you're already in a big room full of people. Plus of course how the actors on stage are deployed and how they come together as a group so often. Somehow recreating this in the movie might be the biggest challenge, and maybe that's why so many of the OBC ended up in it, since they reportedly had that community spirit the most.

hmmm I'm sorry I didnt have time to read through your 700-something pages, so you all are probably off topic of adam BUT I guess Ill just post something nice bout him for the hell of it my mother and adam

ok soo I was watching Broadway: The American Musical, the footage of RENT, and Adam was singing, and my mom was passing by the TV with her basket of laundry, and she hears Adam- she literally DROPS the laundry. She goes "WHO IS THAT??" and I tell her and she says "All I have to say is..wow"

She doesn't as much as she used to, partly because I've exposed her more, and party just because she knows he's really important to me. She just doesn't find his voice.... nice to listen to. She'll ask me things like "you can't really tell me that you *love* his voice... can you?" She doesn't understand how I can think he sounds sexy, and that I think his voice is absolutely, positively beautiful. Ah, well... to each his own. She finds him physically attractive, though. Obviously. my mother and adam (that sounds WRONG)

I can understand why some people don't like his voice - it's not conventionally beautiful when he's using his raspiness, or whatever you want to call it. The expressiveness with which he uses it is what makes it beautiful to me.
