Same exact thing with my mom. The thing is, he is a grown man that our moms couldn't possibly resist being a little attracted to!

I really have to see SLC Punk!--he looks ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS in that--but I'm afraid I'll have to sneak it in. My parents are strict about R movies.

Adam's voice... is just... omg wow... there are NO words to describe it.

I was first turned on to adam by his voice. His emotions just resonate through his voice and it is just so beautiful. It also helps that he is hot but his voice really does it for me. Oh he also plays the guitar which makes me very happy. Anywho, addict, is that adam's high school pic?

Don't focus on the hair. Focus on the youthful beauty in his face! If we were teenagers in the late 80's we'd all be gushing over him--AND his mullet!

yup--it says it's from his highschool yearbook, so I guess it's his senior year? It's intersting to see what he looked like as a teenager.

Where on earth did you find that picture? That is the funniest thing I have ever seen.

Since we are all sharing our mom stories, here's mine!
My first visit to NYC was my senior year of high school show choir and we were all seeing a brand new show called Aida. So new that she didn't even know how to pronounce it properly. Anyways, of course-my mom went on this trip. She had never been to NYC either. So EVERYONE, including my sixty-two year old mother was seeing Aida. And well, my mother loved it! I don't know how, but she was like (in my best southern accent) "that young egyptian boy was quite a tall drink of water!" So to this day when ever she's in the car with me it's "play that cd where the guy and the girl get burried alive".

Edit: My mom will be seeing THE Raúl Esparza in Chitty during the month of May, so I can't WAIT to hear what she has to say about him...

My mom can't stand Adam. She thinks he's ugly, his voice sucks, and she doesn't see the appeal to him. He's "an overaffected Broadway a-hole".... she thinks most Broadway people are like that, but he's on the top of the list.

Sometimes I can't stand mothers.
I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

I agree with Chloe, I love the slightly growly edge. I think he's very expressive when he sings and his falsetto is simply gorgeous.

I'm sure he was well-known in his school anyway, because he his band played at all the dances and such.
