When I went to your blog, there was a "comments" link to click on at the bottom of each entry. However, I don't remember seeing that on Nia's blog yesterday, so maybe it doesn't always show up.

ETA: I'm referring to ponine's blog - just can't keep up around here.

Ooo, not to change the subject or anything... okay, yeah, I guess this is a subject change, but it's interesting!

I mentionned the other day about my friend finding a french RENT video. It's SO weird.

Two Mimi's, both very white, one of which is the scariest, most intense, BLONDEST Mimi I've ever seen... both wearing leggings and a 50's sweater/belt thing (pink, nonetheless). They sing Out Tonight (On sort ce soir) and do some dancing before moving over to the two Rogers, who are wearing striped t-shirts with denim vests (that have lots of pins on them) and matching jeans and sneakers. One of them is wearing a ballcap.

They sing Another Day (En d'autres temps), while doing some boy band dance moves. THEN, everyone else comes out. There's like 20 of them, I swear. There are a couple Marks, but no one else is really dressed like a character.

They all sing Seasons of Love (Seul l'amour compte). Well, eventually they do. The harmonies at the beginning are just BRUTAL. Oh my... so weird.

Not *entirely* a change, Allie, since Emcee mentioned a French philosopher and I responded with a French phrase.

Anyway, that does sound really weird. Have you ever heard French pop music? That's pretty strange too. It sounds like they're trying to turn the East Village into some sort of period Left Bank enclave.
