Yeah... she kind of has this...sort of, 'quiet, going about her business' mannerism. I dunno what I'm saying, but it's just interesting to see how she reacts to everything as being Adam's wife. Like in all the pics she looks somewhat shy and distant, ya know?
I'm such a freak. We talked to her at Joe's Pub, and later on my friend was sitting near her and I'm just like "Smile!" all the while capturing the lovely Cyebele in the picture. I think she saw me, but I had to! She's so pretty.
My friend who's new to Adam was actually at first in the bathroom with Cybele and they came back and I'm like "that's his wife!"
We were talking with her about our fav. songs from the new cd, and Cybele said, "I like I'm With You; I think it's really beautiful." LOVE the "mother's religion" line!

This does seem different to me than meeting an actor at the stage door, say. You're there with someone involved with the shoot, who I assume will explain your presence. If Anthony's there you have an easy opening in talking about his posts on the message board (even if you aren't able to reach him via PM beforehand). They might be asking you questions, rather than you having to think of stuff to ask them.

The main thing is, if Adam says "you look familiar," be sure not to answer "like your dead girlfriend."

ETA: We posted at the same time, Adamaddict. Interesting about Cybele. I hope one of her plays gets produced, as I'm really curious as to what sort of thing she'd write. I think a lot of us agree with her about I'm With You.

hahaha, well, I certainly think she'd like I'm With You, Chrissy. Pointless jealousy aside, I thought it was absoulely ADORABLE that he stared at her through almost the entire song. Prayer to the mail gods: Please send Civilian, FAST!

I think I'm going to PM Anthony like a week before, give him a heads up so he can put a face to a name. I've heard most of them are pretty friendly, but the only two I've met that will be there are Adam and Idina.

I'm more worried about passing out as his feet from lack of food/sleep than responding with something like that. But I seriously laughed out loud. :-P
I wonder if I'll get a "hey, I think we've met before..." or something. I'd like to know my efforts are paying off!

Yeah, Emcee, I'm sure they'll see you as someone just very interested in this movie's progress, and maybe a little more interested in the cast members, or a specific *cough* one.
But yeah, I always try to think of something I'm anxious about in a different way; then I become distracted and before I know it, I'm having the time of my life!

Okay, I'm really starting to fade, I can see. I updated my last post three times, once to reply to Chrissy, then because I misspelled "write" as "right," and then because I called her Allie. Brain. Is. Not. Functioning.

I was just reminded of how people were referring to Adam as *cough* in the Rent Welcome thread for a while. That was funny.

Emcee, hopefully Adam's memory for faces is better than it is for things like lyrics, dates and acting awards.

I couldn't access any of the threads for a while. BWW seems to be very buggy at times.

I'm actually going to go, too. I'm in the middle of reading Larry Kramer's novel Faggots (sheer BRILLIANCE, by the way) and I want to do some reading before I go to bed.

Nice! why are you tired? I actually went to bed at a decent hour last night and I think all that accomplished was making me more tired.. I can't believe I was in bed before midnight. I haven't been in bed before 2 in I dont know how long (except those couple of days I was really sick)

Indeed it does catch up with you.. Thats why I was so sick end of Nov through mid Dec.. I average about 2 to 3 hours of sleep a night which isn't good.. last night I was so tired I was in bed by 11:30 and well when I woke up this morning I still felt exhausted.

You should get rest so you dont get sick!
