It's not stupidity, but thank you.
Goodnight! I should be off to bed soon, too.
stupidity--what I meant to say was how they complain about what they asked for.
NIGHT! Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Even if it wasn't a happy one, ADAM!
Stopping the Adam Love from falling off the first page..
I'm guessing no one else is here yet..
Here, but just for enough time to say hi. I'll be around later for a bit.
Ok well have a good day!
Dropping in again.

I never want to do my work...
Little Women? Yay, another Emcee review!
awww. I feel so loved!
YAY another Em review.. Wooo Hooo..
One of these days I might actually get around to writing a review for one of the shows I see..
So Em if I show up in NY in March you gonna hang out with me?

I don't think I could do reviews... I get too emotionally attached to the shows, characters, and actors. It would not be a good thing.
I think part of why I love to write this stuff so much, and why people enjoy reading them is because I don't pull out my emotional attachment. Remember my post about AIDA's last? Had emotion not been there (or Adam's gigs or something) what would've been left?
Sure thing, cam.
haha, I get attached as well but I dont pull any punches either.. I wont be overly rude but if I dont like something I will say it.. (usually to their faces at the stage door)

I suppose so...
You know, I've never read your AIDA's last review!
My point is that I'm not going ot say nice things just because I like the actor.. If they screw up I say so.. but yes there is lots of emotional attachment.. thats part of why we love theatre..
Here you go, Allie:

Woo! Thanks, Em. I've been trying my hand at little reviews. Like the dance show here last week, TV shows, that kind of thing. I'm doing journalism, and I've always been interested in that aspect of it, but I don't think it's for me. I'm very observant, but not in the right way, I don't think.
Everyone writes differently Allie.. Just write what you observe, feel, and take away from it..
Give it a shot, Allie. I've talked to people about doing this "for real" and the general consensus is that it's essentially a self-taught skill.
Not only that but you have to remember reviews are strictly personal opinion.. there is no right or wrong..
Well, yeah. That's why no matter what, in most cases it's better to go see stuff for yourself.

You guys are WAY more supportive than other friends... not even kidding. I like to do them for fun, and I think maybe I'll start to put a little more into them!
Consider this: this board started out as something to keep me entertained. Now I'm able to put stuff out there and get feedback, and who knows? Maybe I've found what I should be doing with my life.... all because of a little entertainment.
Em you are very good at reviews.. who knows maybe you have found your calling. Either that or official Adam shill!
