HE SCARED HIMSELF WHEN HE THRU IT!
Now that's an interesting image.
I didn't see Broadway Love Songs live, but I saw the DVD as well. I loved the way Heather sang that song. And of course Adam and Heather were adorable at the end of their duet.
bdwaygirl...I told my friends the same thing, except I want the original cast to perform it live.
LOL! Well, when I told them that, I suggested they get him to sing it live or I'll come back to haunt them. I think I'll have a better chance of a tape being played, though.
Amasis, you had to see it. He actually jumped when the cup bounced across the floor! Did he not expect it?? He just threw the darn thing for criminy's sake!

Don't worry bdwaygirl..Boobs will make sure you get what you want..even if I have to kidnap Adam myself. Remember, I have family that can make him an offer he can't refuse.
Can I kidnap him when you're finished?
Nothing like morbid thougths!
Emcee - I will deliver him to your door with a big red bow.
Excellent.
Now that's an image...
So to get back to tonight's show for a moment. The audience really seemed to be into it. Lisa got alot of laughs. Where was I reading about people not thinking Adam is a good actor? Oh yes, the thread about his interview on Broadway.com. Well, I just have this to say and then that's all I'm saying about Micky. Adam has to be a damn good actor, since he manages not to laugh in his face during his scenes with Micky. I know I certainly wouldn't be able to hold it in. Sorry, but this is really getting on my last nerve.
Um, let's see what else. Deborah was o.k. I like her, but I'm not feeling too much of a link between the two. Oh, and the fans are coming out in droves. Both Deborah and Adam got entrance applause, and major applause after alot of their songs. During curtain call, major flashes from cameras going off already. Can't imagine what Sunday will be like. Probably like Taboo's last show.
I think I'm forgetting something, though. I have to think.

Oh God. Micky. I laugh at him!
Sunday's going to be something - the energy there is going to be incredible. I can't wait.
Oh... I like hearing stories of performances =). Thanks, bdwaygirl.
"Now that's an image..."
Yeah, especially when you consider all the various places this 'red bow' can be placed.
(Is QM online?? I swear she's the one who gets me into having thoughts like this. It's her fault!!)

Amasis, I DID think of that. I just refrained from mentioning.
Boobs, you are just too good to me! Kisses to you!
Emcee, I can and I can't wait. I was getting all choked up tonight during Elaborate Lives and then again during Written In The Stars. I don't know how Sunday is going to be. Adam's facial expressions... Words just do not describe. I don't care what anybody says. I can see that he's grown as an actor. Tonight clinched that for me.

He really has. I'm so proud of him.
Sunday... I don't know whether to be excited or sad. I was telling someone today: I marked my calendar for this four months ago, with no intentions of being there. Now it's (for all intents and purposes) tomorrow. I don't know what to think. I can't believe I'll be there, though.
Anyway, I'm going to sleep... take advantage of the time I can get while I can.
Night all!
Sorry I won't be at Sunday's performance. I just love the show. All of you who are going, Enjoy !!! Throw a kiss to Adam from me. Now time for me to get some shut eye. Before I go, I meant to say that where you gals think I would place the bow, would be exactly where I would place it for you. Good night friends. Kisses and hugs all around. xoxoxoxoxo
Good night, Emcee & BB!! Emcee, it'll be "amazing" on Sunday . And of course, all of us who can't make it will expect *very detailed* reports from every single one of you who goes.

Details? My specialty!
And the bow.... oh boy.
Night, everyone. I just need to go click around a little before I head off to sleepyland. Still on an Adam/AIDA high. Pleasant dreams!

Amasis, I wasn't even online last night, so I'm certainly NOT taking the blame for your thoughts this time.
Saw the show as well... nothing spectacular happened, I guess, except like bdwaygirl said, lots of Adam fans seemed to be in the audience, lots of cheering for him.
I actually thought his WILL FORGET was one of his 'worse' ones yesterday but maybe my excectations are a bit too high
I thought Deborah was not great yesterday, she hit some funny notes during The Gods Love Nubia and I swear if she finishes
the song one more time with the 'strike' gesture (she has this thing about ending her last note with the gesture that can usually only be seen at bowling places when someone hit a strike) I swear I'm gonna rush the stage and beat the s**t out of her!!! Well, not really, but it ANNOYS me! (It's early and I'm aggressive!!!)
I had to laugh when reading bdwaygirl's comments about Adam's facial expressions. I'm sorry but they just crack me up sometimes (like when Amneris tells him off for not joining her in the bedroom - good for her, by the way, I'd be annoyed too ) and what's this gesture when saying 'I'll never take you sailing'? When he did that for the very first time I fell off my chair laughing!!!
Oh well, next show tonight (I need some serious help!!!) and then one more
On a more positive note (for me anyway), I managed to upgrade my seat for Sunday, so tickets keep coming up, so keep checking, guys. Managed to get row F in the orchestra... should be close enough
QM
More stories!! How nice!
I think I was channelling your spirit nevertheless, QM. So you're seeing it tonight and tomorrow? That's cool!! Undiscovered, I'm surprised you're *only* watching the last show.

You're right, Undiscovered, I read the choreography bit in the Aida book too but I swear the 'I'll never take you sailing' gesture is an "Adammannerism", none of the other Radames' do it (same goes for Deborah's strike gesture, Heather never did it) It is SO funny.
I KNOW, we have had our issues with this one dancer last week (what was his name, Robert Armitage???). He still looks so out of place and it is actually one of the first things my friend picked up on: She said, he was 'wrong' and looked weird.
Anyway, I LOVE the Aida ensemble (most of them anyway!!!). I enjoy watching most of the dancers. Some of them really put such an effort into their small roles and always make me smile.

QM - which hand gestures? I'm trying to remember, but it's been so long since I saw it. (A perfect cue for me to whine, actually, but I'll save my 'woe is me' misery whining for tomorrow )
Amasis, I really don't know how to describe the gesture... He's done it in Chess last year as well (whilst singing to Florence) which made me fall off my chair too
I really don't know how to describe it... I'll check with my friend and maybe we'll figure out a way how to decribe it.
Maybe Undiscovered can help, if she knows which gesture I mean
By the way, you are up early, you guys!!!
QM
Oh, no big deal . Was just curious cause I'm trying to remember and I guess it didn't make an impression on me. (Or I blocked it, or something
).
I usually *do* get up early (4 a.m-ish) but right now it's actually evening here. And I have a nasty cold, so I'm stuck at home. =(
LOL, Undicovered. That's the gesture he used to do, I think. But he's changed it two weeks ago and it's this 'knees slightly bent, hands up to his shoulders, palms out, VERY CAMP gestures'. He did it in Chess, Undiscovered, he did it when he confronts Florence after the first game, on the word 'fly'.
QM
You can't miss it on Sunday. The audience tends to laugh when he does it!
