Ohh... I remember now. Well, the 'old' one anyway. So no fly? No giggling during "Written..."? Still thinking of bringing your lunchbox for Micky, Undiscovered?
Btw, guys... I'm reading this book and the main character is named Adam. It's screwing around with my head, cause I can only picture one person with that name now. Just thought I'd share.

Why am I not surprised to read the word 'screw' in your post, Amasis???
QM
Oh, but you see, QM, only you would immediately spot that. I used to be very very shy on this thread. Really. And then you came along. It has to be your influence.

OK, so the following quote is not about Adam, but because a few pages back we were talking about why someone's voice would crack, how much of it is mental block, how much from technique, or transition difficulty, etc., etc..... I thought you'd find the following interesting. It's from the interview with Hugh Jackman in the New York Times. And if you want to read about Hugh Jackman, the link to the article is on a thread on the main message board.
One night, during the song "Quiet, Please, There's a Lady on Stage," I cracked a little bit on a note. I forgot about it, but the next night when I came up to that note, about a line before, I sort of remembered, and then I really cracked on that note. I woke up the next morning and it was the first thought in my head. So I thought, "This is ridiculous," and forgot about it. That night, I was nervous all the way through Act I and then cracked badly. It was this feeling of humiliation onstage, where literally I would turn red and then get angry, and then I'd feel it underneath while playing the whole show. It started to envelop me, to the point where I'd wake up and I'd be nervous coming to the show. I've never had stage fright, I've never really understood it, but all day it felt like a Herculean effort to get out on the stage. I started thinking, "I don't know how to sing." And whatever used to happen naturally I was second-guessing. I wanted to vomit, all from a little note!
awwww, Hugh is so adorable!
But this is Adam's thread, and I get to see him tomorrow! Wooooooo!
I'm trying to think of the gesture too, but I can't seem to. Oh well... I look for it on Sunday. I do enjoy laughing at Adam. That does make me think of a funny one, though. He only did this the first time I saw him after he came back, but during the first Radames/Zoser exchange, he did this hand thing. He sort of flipped his wrist as he was saying something, and I remember TM Cara looking at me and giggling. She thought it was very "Ned Weeks," for anyone who saw The Normal Heart.... very gay. It made me laugh... a lot. But he hasn't done it again that I've seen.
Oh boy... one more reason for me to laugh at him... and love him!
Undiscovered, your icon is yummy.

Ok, I was speed-reading all the stuff I missed... and are these gestures a bad thing? I'm confused.
Not bad, insomniak. Just funny!

Me too. So are his gestures painfully bad or just funny bad? I can't read between the lines well.

Speaking of JCS, does anyone else find that King Herod's Song from JCS sounds like All For the Best from Godspell at some parts?
