Thanks Cam. So my decision now is whether or not it's worth trying to finish out the year... because there's only a slim chance that I can pass. But I really don't want to just give up. But if I fail, I'm gone for a year. GAH!

I dont know what to tell you.. I guess it's all a matter of if you think you can bust butt and pass.. You definately dont want to have to leave for a year.. It's different if it's your choice ot go..

I have a meeting tomorrow with one of the directors of the program. He'll be able to tell me if it's doable or not. Woo! Fun phone conversation with my mom, coming right up this afternoon. Ugh.

I don't know what to say to her! She knows I had an appointment about all this today. She'll call and ask how it went, and then I'll have to confess that I haven't been telling her how badly I'm doing in school. "Well, Mom, it's not going great... I'm failing!" (cue tears on my part, just because it won't be hard enough without crying)

Yeah tears are inevitable. just be honest with her. I'm guessing you haven't told her any of this yet because you are afraid of her being disappointed in you etc..

Well you will figure it out.. Unfortunately I dont know your parents so I can't give you any insight as to how I think they will react.. I wish I could be more helpful..

Not to mention I'm just not in a very good palce right now.. and I tried to eat this morning after several days and now I just feel ill..

That sucks. Eek. I went through that last week. But just eat a little at a time, and you'll be okay eventually.

Yeah, I'll work it out. I just kind of don't want to have to tell Mom while she's at work. She's not going to be happy, and that'll just ADD to the stress. I'll give her a call after supper maybe.
