I didnt' say violent.. Intense sure, but not necessarily violent..
em- just read your dream, pretty neat! hah sounded a little oddish but it sounded artistic... yeah so anyway, i havent been on for a while and i hate that i'm so busy that i dotn have a lot of time to gush about my lover adam pascal!
Hi Elle! Cam, personally I'm rooting for a love scene leading into a furniture-breaking sex scene, but we shall see. Your dream was fascinating, Emcee. Very creative.
That's the kind of thing I mean when I saw I want the film to feel like that old commercial. I'm in love with that commercial.
Furniture... oh baby.
Hi Emcee. I don't really think they'll go for destroying any furniture in the movie, but something like your dream seems quite likely. It'll be really interesting to see how the April story is handled.
I've seen that ad a couple of times and it is very nicely done.
In my dream (since obviously that's authority, lol...) it was really sweet. I hope it's like that. Very much in love.
I think they would have to be really in love to make sense of Roger's reaction to her death. Though of course he has plenty of other things to be depressed about too.
I see him being really loving with her though... a little bit more detached with Mimi at first. *sigh*
I really hope we at least get one.

Aw, Emcee, I loved that! Great dream. But I will turn away from the screen when and if they actually show needles 'going in'. It makes me SO queasy!
Cam... you know how I feel about that dirty stuff. Furniture-breaking sex?? Ger-ROWL!

*shivers* I have to turn away anytime they insert needles in movies. IV drips, drugs, anything. Can not watch.
I think I missed the furniture breaking sex.
I hate needles. On top of that, obviously I have a comfort issue with watching Adam shoot up.
... hopefully I'll be able to watch.
Yeah, it won't be pretty, but will certainly make his situation more of a reality. Interesting how stage and film are different that way - I don't think the show would benefit from graphic stuff like that, but the movie will.
Nia, sadly, no furniture-breaking sex has actually occurred on the thread.
Judging from how I felt when I woke up.... definitely not pretty. This movie's already going to make me cry enough!
Aww, sorry Emcee. It seems like you've had enough emotional ups and downs lately. Whenever I think of the movie I hear "What You Own," maybe because it was mentioned a lot during the NY shoots. Also see Adam's tattoo a lot in my mind. Even if they're not keeping the plaid pants, they have to have some bare arms at *some* point!
ooooh, he'd better.
I love my bad boys. Tattoo = bad boy.
The tattoo definitely does that. I can imagine an article being written about him that points out his major contradictions. He's a rocker with a tattoo, earrings and perpetual stubble, who also lives in the suburbs with his wife and kids and works his Broadway star night job. On stage he radiates major attitude, while possessing a smile that makes him look (as you've pointed out) like he's twelve.
There was a really funny post on CB recently, about Tarzan. People were like "That's not doing much for the rocker image..." and someone else was like "well, did CABARET really help the rocker image?"
He is a bit of a contradiction. Kind of multifacted in the reasons to love him, though.
And I'm happy to say all three earrings were present at the film shoot. Earrings work well on Roger, I think.
Multifaceted is good. I saw that CB thread also - the post I remember is someone saying that after seeing Adam in his second Aida stint, the poster had come to the conclusion that Adam just loves to perform, period. Which must be true, yet as we've talked about before, he's not at all a typical performer psychologically.
Elton, for instance, is really driven to perform by his need for the audience's love. He's said that if he notices even one member of the audience who isn't into his show, he needs to somehow get that person to enjoy himself. He knows it's sick but he can't help it.
Adam, on the other hand, gives me the impression that he wants the audience to love his music, but not him necessarily. (I think we've gone over all this before, but I find it fascinating.)
I remember the one about him loving to perform. It's so true. He loves being on stage. That's what I tell myself when I wonder if he'll opt to do more movies or if he'll stick with live stuff.
That was an interesting thread, anyway. I think the original basis was what people thought he'd do after the movie.
I agree someone like Adam would find being on stage much more gratifying than working on a film. Filmmaking is kind of geeky and cerebral, really, and that's not him. If he's enjoying making this one, a lot of that must have to do with rejoining his RENT castmates.
My bet for what he'll do after the movie is still on The Wall.
