BILLY ELLIOT, BILLY ELLIOT! I loved seeing the marquee photo.
I'm betting on The Wall because Adam seems to get what he wants when it comes to Broadway shows. I really can't imagine what that show would be like. The main character in the movie is way too passive to make a good theater character, so he'll have to change somewhat. I also wonder how the singing would be divided up. One person couldn't possibly sing the whole thing, but that's kind of how the movie is structured, aside from a couple that Bob Geldof sang.

I wish they'd revive Hair, because then he'd do that, and I'd be happy for a very long time. But The Wall does sound intriguing; at least it won't end up being the typical jukebox show.

Ahhhhhh.
I was chatting last night with a lurker here who visited the SF set. She showed me her pictures, and said that Adam had been shooting alone inside the club whose exterior is decorated as the Cat Scratch. It looks GREAT, first of all. He was singing a non-RENT song, whose name I can't remember, she said. It was definitely a flashback scene, because he was SO punked out, and it was... well, gorgeous. They had him in a short, bleached blonde wig, and it looks like he stepped back eleven years. He looks EXACTLY like he did when he was younger. I saw a picture of the actress playing April, too. She's not what I expected, but it works, I think. She's got dyed-red hair, lots of makeup, and she's very thin, definitely fitting the druggie image. They're really going all out, and the more I see, the more I like. I was in lots of shock from the pictures. Lots.

GAH!!! I hate you being on a strict time schedule for being online.. it totally sucks.. And I have rehearsal until 9 tonight. Touring group from 5 to 6:30 (sh!t that reminds me I need to look at the music, I dont know the bloody harmonies) then Pirates from 6:30 to 9. Never a dull moment. I guess staying busy is better than the alternative. And sometime between now and Saturday I have to find time to buy a bridal shower gift for my friend. I think I'm skipping rehearsal Saturday to go, it's either that or leave early.
