Yaay our hotel has wireless, I would have gone into major withdrawal w/o getting online until Monday...

Wait, who gave Greg the cube again? And am I on there? Sorry I forgot but to whoever did, that's awesome! Thanks for thinking of us!

Well, we just got to the hotel in Massachussets...LOTS of traffic. I'm tired. Keeping an eye on the cam, but I have a feeling I will fall asleep soon. Will probably miss the cam tonight b/c of the show.

Aww, all the Katrina stuff is so sad. I donated $200 to the red cross though. I also gathered up food and clothing but no one is collecting that as of now so I have it stored for the time being.

We're still waiting to hear from some family members in Louisiana. They're a bit higher up in the state geographically, so we're pretty sure they're OK, but communication is so skitzo right now ...

We're getting refugees in Ark. now, and I'm just curious ... but how much is all of your guys' gas prices going up?

Ooh, I'm not a huge college football fan but very excited for the NFL season. Giants can't be worse and Jets thank goodness have a new field goal kicker so if all else stays equal from last season, they should at least make it to the AFC championship game, which would be awesome.

While I'm on sports, really bad Yankees lost. So not used to seeing them in the second spot, sad. Well, still overall they're doing better than they have. Much better pitching. But man, Steinbrenner hasn't learned his lesson from the 80s--too many old free agents and no farm system. Hrmph.

Cat--I can't, we're going to see Sound of Music in this local playhouse at Massuchessets, it's dinner theatre. Dinner begins at 7, show starts at 8. Well, I may be back just in time...I'll hope to be.

Err, Traci, Jamie, etc., don't stereotype! Many girls including myself enjoy baseball and football, and if I were in Greg's position on Saturday I'd always be watching the Yankee game webcast. It would actually be amusing, as if I was on the cam, you'd see me clap, make lotsa hand motions, mad faces, cursing at umps, etc. I love sports almost as much as musicals.

Sigh ... why did the 1st Hogs game have to be on a holiday weekend??? Grrr. My ticket for it is sitting nice and pretty on my 'fridge ... oh well game two is just two weeks away.

Anyone have big plans for the holiday? Cookout, movies, bank robbing?

WRQ - ah yes! Cursing at the umpire. In college, we always sat in above the dugout on the first base line - our feet on top of the dugout. Student free seats rock!

You can bet your sweet boopie I'll be cheering the Hogs when baseball starts up again, and in just a few short weeks, it'll be Lady Razorback volleyball! Can't wait to see those kills!

Heh, actually, I kinda did do that. Two seasons ago, the infamous Aaron Boone homer year, I worked till 8:30, during the playoffs I just HAD to put the radio on to listen to the game while in the office. Oopsy.
