girls I have a favour to ask: my American uncle won't be able to tape the tony award ceremony for me therefore if one of you would tape it and send it to me I would be very grateful re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread, Part 4! *Witty Title Forthcoming*
Norbert Leo Butz quotes about John Lithgow: "He's really clumsy. One of the joys in life is to watch a great big huge man totally wipe out backstage. It takes John about three minutes to hit the floor. It's like watching a Great Sequoia falling gracelessly."

Nice slideshow. I know I should be more grossed out about that nail pic from the afternoon show, but I slammed my middle finger in a door when I was about 9 so I know what Greg went through (mine was on Christmas day, awesome right?).

Happy Tonys Day!
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

I'm glad I got to watch NY1's preshow. The last guy to speak said "It was a ball, it was a blast."

Ooh...tsk, tsk. Paul should have been at rehearsal this morning.

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread, Part 4! *Witty Title Forthcoming*

nice! haha. I heard a bit of it. cause my computer sucks. but I heard Norbert say something about if he ever works with some of the lighting designers nominated, to give him gel lights that make him look thinner.

yeah, could see Paul struggling there. haha. Drowsy Chaperone song was good. so glad I saw it yesterday.

huh, guess I should tell you guys what happened yesterday.

so, I get there with my friend and he gets DRS lottery (didn't even have to wait. the guy just handed him the slip and told him to go get it. then my friend came with me to do lottery for Drowsy. we waited for Amanda, which took forever. then the guy who does DRS lotto came to do Drowsy lotto. (yay! got to see him twice!).

so, we didn't win. went to see TKTS but it wasn't there. then I went back to see about standing room. Amanda left and who knows where she went. didn't get that but a group lost some of their memebers and got one of their tickets for $65 (face value). 3rd row mezz. fantastic! such a good show! so glad I saw it before tonys and that everyone one was in it.

so, after the show, went down to the stagedoor. got a few autographs. got Greg's ex-wife's husband's autograph. but, before people came out, I saw Sara Ramirez walk in the stage door. I just stood there open-mouthed. She came out later and I wanted to ask her for a picture but she left on the side and I didn't have enough time to run around and catch her. but oh well. so when I found out Bob Martin wasn't coming down, I went to the DRS stage door. It was just getting out and I saw my friend then Amanda scared the sh*t out of me (not really but she wanted to think that she did).

and while we were there, Jeffrey Lane walked in (guy who wrote DRS book if you all forgot). and I started to hyperventilate. right amanda? and then we saw greg come out with Julie and Rachel York came out later and some ensemble members and Fred Lassen (conductor) came out in running clothes (he has good legs). Then, amanda and I were the last ones there and were just hanging out on the barricades. then Jeffrey Lane came out. and I asked him if I could have a picture with him. and he said sure then we said that we loved the show and had seen it a lot. and then he said he would go back in and get us posters. he came out with playbills but signed by 15 out of 26 cast members. Jonathan, Norbert, Greg, Joanna, Rachel, Mylinda, and ensemble members. he was sorry that he couldn't find any posters but we were like "This is fantastic. thanks so much!" then we chatted with him for 10 minutes about stuff and how hilarious Richard Kind is. And we asked him if Kind can put on a french accent and he said hopefully. but he said he is very funny but he would not have been good with Joanna but will be good with Lucie. so, who knows?

so, that made me happy.

Happy Birthday Cat!

I've returned from the wilderness, I managed to find a spare tv and cable box and after a half hour of tiring work I got the Tony's to come through. I only got to watch the first hour though, which I figured would be alright since I was taping it at home. So I got home today and went to watch and I died a little because apparently my power had gone out.

Why does God hate me?

I was dissapointed by the lack of Greg Jbara Tonys as well.
