Oh wow I didn't think the cam would still be going on :P "running" to the apartment turned into 'my mom wanted to iron all my new sheets and buy me lunch (yay)'. On the upside my place is starting to look like I could live there (haven't moved in yet).
oops double post

ARGH!
My cable (and thus internet) went down at precisely 2:03 and just came back now. I worked all morning to make sure that I could be around for the auction- and technical difficulties stopped me.
I hope it's back for good. Stupid storms.
I'm already late for rehearsal, but I know we won't get done until the webcam is over. I wish I knew what items were coming up. Then I could have someone bid for me
[edit] whoever said earlier that Greg should have items up on ebay or yahooauctions is smart.
I am back now in my room and ready for action! haha. yessss...
^ get the eddie reference Traci?
now, for some Lean pockets and Ben and Jerry's ice cream with cookie dough. can you guess what time of month it is for me?

The ebay, etc. ideas would usually be very smart, but in this case, I think Greg is trying to move the items as quickly as possible and with as little hassle as possilbe before his move back to LA. Otherwise, it would mean packing it all up and taking it with them, or perhaps even trashing stuff, and he'd rather it do some good. Thus the live cam auction and stage door pick-ups by July 22nd. I'm sure in the midst of moving and everything, he doesn't want to have to deal with shipping issues and all that. Instead it's bid, win, pay at pickup. (Or for some, and with Greg's blessings, bid, win, mail Amanda the check to BC/EFA, have her pick up their item and reimburse her shipping costs.)
haha, Loved the Eeddie refrence Dre.
yes. haha.
$155 for the pencil, wow!
what is the next item, greg?
anyone going for it?

If memory serves, the Eiffel Tower Lamp was a dressing room decor gift from his wife Julie.
I really like that lamp.
I would have loved the Big Pencil but it probably would have cost me more to have Amanda ship it to me then for the pencil itself.
I remember Greg telling me that Julie got that for him.
Edit: The lamp. Not the pencil.
the lamp is nice, but I don't know what I would do with it.
I wonder if #5 is going to be Jack?

You could light up your life with it, Dre.
lol about Jack, Mamie.
If it is Mamie, I'll definitely bid!
That's funny, Mamie.
Is it just me or is this making anyone else out there kinda sad?

I LOVE that lamp.
Although I am moving...
Edit: I probably can't afford what it goes for, though I did bid.

yes, I'm sniffling.
then again, I have a cold.
Jack would have been nice.
and, yes barb, it could have lit up my life. Especially if it had been Greg's before, but I relly would have had no place to put it.
You know it's not just you. I'm sitting here taking deep breaths to keep from getting weepy.
(Of course, I'm a sap)
and it's that time of month for me, so, just thinking about the time when I traveled around europe with my parents made me tear up.

I'm all sappy since my (forced) move happens just days after Greg's departure.
An era really is ending in my life, this happens to be at the same time.
So yeah, I'm sappy.
I'm a sap, too.

I just had an amusing thought:
Wouldn't it be funny if someone went to the show that night directly after picking up an item? Like the lamp?
You never know, people bring all sorts of things to the theatre these days.
ETA: Aaahhh, the bidding is extended for the lamp. I really want it, but I know I won't get it.
