I bid on Whip!
I'll be there tomorrow. Probably right before curtain due to the weather, but I'll be there.
To all that are going (you lucky ducks), have fun!
Hopefully I'll be around for the early cam on Wed and Sat, but our show opens this coming weekend, so I can't be around for the evening A little depressing, but I'll be watching in spirit. Also the fact that I'm doing a musical kinda helps ease the blow.

This is very depressing for me, espeically since I'm leaving the area just after this.
But in a way, this is helping to distract me from moving.
Hopefully I'll see some of you tomorrow! I'm going to try to get there in time for lotto.
wow! missed a fun day. 6 pages! good job guys! and Whip! so sad!
edit: also, who is going on the 23rd to see Greg's last show? cause, we should get together then too. (cause I know some of you are getting together on the 16th.) maybe do the same thing? have lunch right after lotto?
Wow, 15 pages until a new thread...start thinking up a name folks...

You just killed a kitten, Dre.
I'll be there next Sunday, too. It will be my final show seen anywhere for a long time.
I'll be there.
I think I saw Jamie yesterday in the city. Or a girl who looks EXACTLY like her was sitting at the table next to me at the restaurant I was at.
Off to lotto the show soon... WISH ME LUCK!!

I wish you luck Kerrie but you also have to do something for me...I need a loooong review about Brian as Freddy. Promice?
Of course. I'm going to try to lotto his first show, and I'll report back with every detail possible.
starletta, i didn't kill a kitten. killing a kitten is when you send the same message twice. both of them are completely different.
good luck Kerrie!!!! wait, lotto the show now? I thought it is at 7?

thanks Kerrie.
So I guess I'm first back! I'm really bad with details, so you'll have to wait for posts from Ryan and Amanda for the juicy stuff.
I actually won the lotto. It was a MIRACLE. My friend's name was the first called. (And thank you so so so so so SO MUCH again to those that came to help me. I really appreciate it.)
The show was amazing. Great audience. Everyone was dead on. Nothing too outrageous to report. Some extra wild humping in Ruprecht... Jonathan had some fun during Shuffhausen. (Like I said, you'll get more details from others lol)
Norbert's speech was REALLY nice, and I think Ryan may have it. He cried a little, it was really sad. Him and Jonathan will be sorely missed. (But then I'll see my d'Arcy.. and I'll recover. )
Ummm thats all I can really think to say. I'm sure the others who were there will have more imput. Heh.

OK, I'll post a few more of the details.
Great audience today. Everyone got entrance applause, including Greg. There was a LOT of WOOing after songs, which always is a good sign.
Lots of extra humping during the Ruprecht scene. Norbert fishing the goldfish out of the toilet also made a return. The ad-libbing went on for a few minutes with the 2 of them barely making it to the song. Oh, and the "thrown-away pretend key" was thrown into the orchestra pit today.
Jonathan whipped out a HUGE orange feather for "Shuffhausin." Nobody was able to stop laughing at it. He also chucked Norbert's sock into the pit.
The touching part of the day started with "Dirty Rotten Number"- they got a full standing O after the song. Norbert was visibly choked up and said "they think they get to go home after this." After a bit, Jonathan and Norbert got up and bowed and hugged one another. And then the show proceeded with an emotional Norbert.
The speeches were really quite sweet. Jonathan didn't really say anything, but Norbert took the stage for quite a bit. He was joking that CBS doesn't give you enough time at the Tonys, so he wanted to thank EVERYONE now. Highlights included bringing Jack Scott and Jack O'Brien out onstage. Jason Gillman was also sitting on the end of the stage and then crawled into the pit with a camera.
It was a fantastic performance, and I'm glad I was there (and met many of you).
I was at the show today as well. It was amazing! I t@ped some of the speech (I don't think I'm allowed to say that?). I'm uploading all my pics and stuff now. Even my mom loved it-- she didn't fall asleep..which says a lot . I now understand why all of you love Greg so much. He was really really good, and so incredibly nice at the stagedoor.

Oh, yeah... the stage door.
Given my health concerns and the absolute mob scene I saw when I existed from the mezz, I skipped that.
(Hey, I caught an earlier train because of it. Life is good)
I didn't bother with the stagedoor. It was just way too crowded.
The stage door was a complete mess. But hey, I got to see Laura again so it was so worth it.
