Lost is such a great show!

If not extremely confusifying...

Cat, have you learned the character's names yet?

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread, Part 4! *Witty Title Forthcoming*

I came in a little while ago after seeing DRS. I fell in love with it all over again. I was actually not in such a great mood earlier tonight but I came home smiling. This was the first time that I saw it without Norbert but I have to say that Jason was terrific. I was disappointed when I found out Norbert was going to be out, as I was hoping to finally meet him at the stage door and I love him in his role, but from the beginning I thought Jason was great. He was also very sweet when he came out. There were a few things that I had not seen/heard before. One was a few new lines in the opening number and the other was a bit on the train where Lawrence says he is a Dentist. Greg said that the dentist bit was done earlier and then taken out. Jonathan Pryce was even better tonight than the last time I saw it. He really has made this role his own. He and Jason were not quite the same as he and Norbert but still very funny. I got a picture with each of them at the stage door. Greg and Joanna were as delightful as always. I love to watch Greg's facial expressions and I adore his French accent. My friend Lisa and I spent quite a bit of time talking to Greg after the show. What's great about him is that it is like talking to an old friend. I promised him the recipe for the Chocolate Peanut Butter Bonbons that I gave him. Apparently they were a hit. I just felt bad ebcause we kept him out very late and he says his kids wake him up at 6. Sorry Greg!

Glad to see you enjoyed the show and Jason, Malki. I am a bit surprised to hear Norbert was out, given how great he sounded Monday. Oh and don't worry about Greg. You know we ALL keep him out late every night. He's used to it by now hopefully.

BTW Where are Alie, Blue, and Kerrie?!

Norbert Leo Butz quotes about John Lithgow: "He's really clumsy. One of the joys in life is to watch a great big huge man totally wipe out backstage. It takes John about three minutes to hit the floor. It's like watching a Great Sequoia falling gracelessly."

me too, but barb is probably making it extra special. and it will be awesome and such a surprise to wake up Friday morning and found out it's there, just like when grandma will see her new leg under the tree.

I can't wait!

Hmm, did they say why Norbert was out? A wednesday thing or particular reason? I was thinking of lottoing DRS today b/c I'm yet to see the entire new cast together, or at least Jonathan with Norbert. Hmmm...

Sorry, they didn't say why he was out. Maybe you can ask if he will be there before you try for the lottery.

SirLiir, I have never seen anyone else play Andre, (which is good because Greg's performance is one of the reasons why I have seen it more than once.)but I did see Dennis as Lawrence and I enjoyed it. Jonathan Pryce is my favorite Lawrence though. He is wonderful!

Thank God I went to the show last night, because my life is a bit hellish today. My husband woke up at 2 AM and preceeded to vomit on and off for 3 hours, which is not the mist pleasant thing to listen to. Then this morning I found out that my daughter had thrown up last night as well. Then, I drove my 4yr old's carpool only to be called back because the teacher thought he had pink eye. So, I picked him back up and took him to the Dr. No pink eye (it's allergies) but he does have strep again. I missed work (serving lunch at school) and now I am playing nursemaid/waitress to a houseful of sickos. My oldest son was home for 2 days as well because he was sick. Now I remember why I don't work full time. At least I have the memories of last night's show and shmoozing with Greg to keep me from jumping out the window.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Right. I asked Greg about the cast tonight and he said Norbert was out last night so no guarantees.

It may not be posted at the time of the lotto anyway, plus it's hard to park on the street before 6, so I'll save it for another day.

malki, I'm really sorry. that sucks. I remember one time when I was sick, my dad had to go to work, and my mom was at work and I threw up on the floor and had to clean it up while trying to keep my dog away from it. it was not pretty. haha.

but, look on the bright side. your daughters' report is on the site and I love it! Especially the last page with what she asked greg and what he replied with. so cool!

did no one get my DRS reference?

Malki - Please tell Shani that it's a wonderful report and I'm very happy that she let us all see it. I am just a little bit disappointed though. I was hoping that we'd get to find out if Greg has to clean his own room at home.

Mamie, Thanks!

This was his response to the cleaning your room question:
Q:How often do you clean your room?
A:I clean the kitchen more often than I clean my room. I clean the kitchen almost every night when I get home from the theatre.

Sorry!
