Posted: 9/28/05 at 9:35pmLOL! I remember the first time I heard Sondheim's Sunday. I was like "this song sounds so damn familiar and I have no freakin' idea why!"

I need to listen to the song from "Sunday" again, because I've only heard it once *gasp* and I remember it, but not well enough.
God, I think I'm in love with his voice. Forget the rest of him.

Britt, Em and Chrys, did you guys know that Euan sings a song on the Dracula CD due out soon?
*not really a threadjack, since Raul was in Taboo with Euan*

Posted: 9/28/05 at 9:46pmAbsolutely. I haven't seen Euan in AGES. I think it's been since his last concert at The Zipper. Too long.

Posted: 9/28/05 at 9:50pmThat is definitely way too long! Almost a year! I went to the Jamie DeRoy thing the end of May, so it's only been 4 months or so. Even THAT is too long! I cannot wait.

Posted: 9/28/05 at 9:53pmTo answer your question Em, yeah. Which I was bummed about becuase I love Tom Hewitt AND Chris Hoch, but I'm really happy with James Barbour and Eaun being a part of the album.

I'm pretty sure it is, Em. They had to wait a while to record it. I believe Wildhorn didn't want to pay the original cast members the going rate to record it. I think that's what I read. I could be wrong. It's happened before.

Posted: 9/28/05 at 9:55pmAnd didn't they want Raul to record it at some point, instead of the OBC? He said no, I guess.

Yeah, they did. But since he's friends with Melissa Errico, he didn't want to do it.
I read that online, but the site escapes me

So nice of him!
My friend runs a Melissa Errico fan forum, and he wanted me to go into a chat room she was doing one night. I asked her what it was like working with Raul, and she said that in short, he's an excellent friend -- like family -- and she'd trust him with her soul, or something like that.

I wanted to hear the two of them sing a song from Sunday in the Park so bad at Wall to Wall. Sadly, he had Chitty rehearsals he couldn't miss.
Michael Cerveris really did do a great job, though.
