For some reason I always assume that it's polite to remove the cap for them, but I don't do it before they need it because Sharpies dry out so fast. So last weekend, I asked him if he'd sign the Rocky Horror CD insert, and he went to take it (I brought a silver sharpie for it, even though he had one with him) and I figured "I guess I should be nice and open it." I think I pulled at the wrong end, and then handed it to him the wrong way, and then didn't know what to do with the cap -- it was awkward. I suck.

You're probably right. I should have taken the cap off beforehand. I didn't even think about it.

Aww. Well that was still nice of you to do it for him!

Once, I told him he could keep my pen.

I'm such a generous fan.

I can't stop staring at your avatar. It's very "come hither."

i always have the worst experiences with sharpies...i think it was the last time i saw chitty, and i handed my sharpie to kevin to sign with...and i like started to hand it to him, and then decided to take off the cap, but he was already reaching for it so i gave it to him, but then he saw i was taking off the cap so he pulled his hand back, and i dropped it, and then he went to pick it up, and then i went to pick it up...just bad. but he laughed, cause he's sweet like that. haha...i shudder to think what would happen if that was Raúl! i'd be even MORE awkward! haha. i get excited, and shaky, and then i've just lost all motor function!

Indeed you are!

Oh me too, me too! I printed out a copy and it's in my room so every time I walk in there I see it and get all happy.

*goes hither* (I don't think that made sense)

As soon as I saw the face he made I was just like "Wow, Raúl. Wow"

I think you "come hither" and you "go thither." I know that sounds weird, but... I think it's right?

I have a black one of those little keychain sharpies. Those always get comments -- everybody thinks they're really cute! Unfortunately they're hard to write with because they're so little. Raul's hands are way too big for that poor little Sharpie. ahem.

I'd print out multiple copies of that! One of the walls in my dorm is covered mostly in photographs -- just on those memory board things and such. They're all mixed together -- pictures of things in the city, of school stuff, my friends, etc, but there are also TONS of stage door pictures. I think I counted six Raul pictures. People are going to start to wonder who this man is when they come to visit. heh. I want to print out a big copy of the Flea Market picture. Raul on the big screen

That makes more sense. *goes thither*

Oh those little sharpies ARE cute! Heh. Mental image.

Anyway, you have SIX stage door pictures with him? Wow. Well done, you! I have a only two. Because sometimes when he is around I forget what cameras are for.

I'm a picture nerd to begin with, and I make sure to always have a camera in my bag, especially in NYC. But... something like that. I have two that are me and Raul and my best friend, one from Broadway Under the Stars and one from The Normal Heart, and then... (I must look like such a freak...) three from Chitty and one from the Flea Market.

I should buy little sharpies in colors!

That's fantastic! I love looking at pictures, as well. I envy your picture board for having so much Raúl goodness!

Allow me to be random for a second - do you think he colors his hair? It's just SO dark. I like to analyze it.

I can't believe this thread has over 100 pages and I'm still here going on about him. Shesh.

Hello life, where did you go?

it's amazing isn't it? we just NEVER EVER run out of things to talk about, because the man is too incredible for life. Em, I'm SO jealous you have so many pics! Right now I just have the polaroid from the flea market. But after tomorrow...(seriously, I'm setting myself up for diappointment here!!)

I don't know if he colors his hair...it is reeeally dark...but it looks consistantly dark, so maybe no? side note - I met Adam when he was in Cabaret and he had the dark hair...so WIERD. I don't know if I liked it or not.

Do you ask because his eyebrows are so light? (Which is just weird.) But, actually... probably not. Because you'd have been able to tell if his hair wasn't really that dark from those pictures of him with his head shaved. It's still just as dark. I love it -- I love men with dark hair like that. It's mysteriously sexy -- like him! I just want to run my fingers through it, or something.

I just keep telling myself that "life" is unnecessary. I'm content!

ETA - they had to dye their hair black for Cabaret -- both of them, ALL visible hair. Adam with black hair is actually... I don't know, I thought it was really, really attractive. Raul on the big screen

I like the tall, dark, and handsome look. I was just curious because his hair is REALLY dark. I did notice the eyebrow thing, though. It makes him unique. But oh boy, something about those eyebrows and his eyes... they just GRAB you. Like in my avatar! I can't escape!

I too am content at the moment. With SO much free time (in TN, might I add) I might go crazy without a thread like this.

Except he's not very tall. But it's okay! Raul on the big screen His hair's not like... unusually dark, is it? Mine's naturally about the same color.

I think the eyes are such an important part of his acting. They just pierce right through you.

Your avatar... it's staring at meeeee....

I don't want to escape! No no no!

Maybe it's because of my blonde hair. It's such a contrast in the pictures of us.

He certainly knows how to get attention. Even from a picture.

It's so funny because I have the biggest smile on in that picture and I look like a spaz. And he's just there looking all hot and seductive. It makes me laugh because he's so easy going about it.
