...which would be about $35 Canadian, anyway, right? If not more. *grumbles* Well, now I know!
Off to class! *grumbles again*
It's worth $35 alone just for Raul singing 'Defying Gravity'. And I love the second song he sings...'Heroes' or something like that. I was like, "Amen, brother!" after he sang it...while I teared up a bit. The interview itself is golden as well of course.
Aww that Chitty video made me get all excited again. Every single time I talk myself out of seeing it again, I come on here and hear about Raul and Chitty and kittens and I just can't help myself. Oh, and will you guys keep me posted on when that 'Show Business' documentary comes out?

AAAAAAAH! October 24! Adam's coming back to broadway for ... PLAYS?! *scratches head* But still! I'd love to see this....
Ahh, yes. I love that song, Ang! Actually Raul sang three songs that night. Defying Gravity (he he), I Don't Believe in Heroes Anymore (absolutely beautiful) "Except when I read books and dream, I don't belive in heroes anymore." and the last one is Lonely House from Street Scene. Well, I had never heard that song before, but Seth made him sing that one becuase it has a high e flat in it. Also gorgeous. I'm actually kind of surprised it's in Raul's rep. It's sort of more an opera piece, but he sings it so well. It's really gripping. I've always wanted to ask Raul how long he's worked on "Heroes" and "Lonely House" becuase he's never sounded better vocally than when he sang those two songs. That night was probably one of my favorite nights in my whole life. God, I love that big blue binder.
I just saw that. And... I have a big big BIG decision to make. I'd love to see him tackle a straight play, but my love for him lies in his singing voice.
I forgot about Lonely House. I had goosebumps all over listening to it. So hauntingly beautiful.
Adam in a play. A straight play? Hmmm...well, we'll see if he can hack it as a actor over a singer. Maybe it's a good career move?
Could be. Something like this might be one of those things that a lot of "important" people will see.
Best of luck to him. This could be a trainwreck, dare I say. Then again, how badly can he mess up in ten minutes? He can hack it for that long.
Well at least he'll always be pretty!
(Not quite Raul pretty in my opinion, but to each his own)
Different sorts of pretty.
Raul is beautiful, Adam is hot. That's how I explain it to people who aren't "initiated". It's not quite that simple, though...
No, Em, I haven't picked one yet! It's so hard. Any suggestions would be welcome.
I'm excited for Adam.
I sort of like Chrys' suggestion from TTB.
I guess that's a good way to explain it. Adam is just... sex on legs. Not that Raul isn't, but he really is beautiful.
Sorry, double post.

heh, what an interesting way of putting it. :-P
Raul is beautiful andhandsome and...exotic? I guess that's the right word.

Damnit. I just listened to "Teamwork" and now I'm really pumped up over nothing. Ugh.
In a silly way, it sort of makes you want to go out and do something.
Adam's much more of a "conventional" pretty boy than Raul is, I think.
Yeah, he is.
But now, I have to go do work. Yucky. I have so much makeup work from the last two days. I'll be back later!
I took another day off. I'm becoming a slacker, but I needed it. I'm still not eating or anything. The thought of food just sort of makes me... not want to eat.
I guess I should get some reading done at some point, though.

Even though you don't want to, you should probably get some food in your stomach. Just to help your immune system fight it off.
I ate a bit earlier -- and I'll make some pasta or something in a bit. I think a lot of it is stress-induced and not "sickness." *shrug* That's partly why I'm resting up so much... just to take my mind away from things.
It shall pass! All of the good news today is a nice sign, even though it certainly doesn't fix problems.

Have you made a decision yet? About the concert and things.
Well, I certainly can't do both, but I think that, maybe if I give up a few other things (like extra trips to Chitty) the concert is something I can't miss. My mother will absolutely kill me.

My mom isn't pleased about it, either. But oh well, I guess. It's too late now.

Concert? What concert? Sorry if I'm being nosey.
The Friends Indeed benefit, Chrys. It's on the Main Board, there's a thread about the Elvis Costello concert. You're gonna flip when you see.
I'll try to make my mom understand.

Oh. My. GOD. That concert would be absolutely incredible! What a line-up... Please can I go, too?
