*hands Emcee self-discipline*
I need to talk with my parents, because my mom is fine with my going, but I honestly don't see how my dad is going to be fine with it. "Why do you need to go to NYC?" "To see Rau- I mean, college interviews!"
Thanks, Chrys, I'll definitely check it out, and thanks Emcee. I'll let you know.
Now I'm all excited! *bounce*

I think it will be hard. But I also think he deserves to hear the words face to face. Even if it would mean the same to him on paper... I just want to do it in person.
It would be fun to meet up since I spend so many hours yapping on this thread to you all. Haha.

I went backstage for Cabaret. And I will *never* forget it. Ever.
I'm trying to get backstage at Sweeney, but he said if it does happen, it will be after previews. Boo hoo.
k, wait. So, should I try for the weekend of the 28th? decisions...
Chrys, I don't see x fares. Is that what it's called? Is there a button on the main airtran page I should click on?

I've been backstage at Wicked. It was something I will never forget. I stood on the stage and it was so powerful. I don't even want to be an actress or anything but there's just something about standing on a Broadway stage that so many incredible people have stood on. It was great.
Oh gosh. I think it would be a lot of fun.

Damn, It says you have to bee 18. I didn't realize that. But, just for future situations, here is the link:

The thing with being backstage, as honored as I felt to be there and as unforgettable it was and as lucky as I am, etc, is that I felt really oddly out of place. :-/
g, I don't want to act at all either, so I didn't think standing on stage would be emotional for me at all, but it WAS really powerful. You feel so tiny, but like you can take over the world all at once.

Yeah exactly! I felt so small! But you're right. It does feel like you are in the way. And I happened to go backstage before a show on the day that there was a fire in the theatre. So people were running all over the place trying to stop the fire and get the smell out before the audience came. I was uncomfortable.
It is weird that I'm literally counting down the days until I get to see the show again? I just feel like I've learned so much more about him and been so moved after The Noraml Heart. It will be like seeing a totally different man. Ah. I can't wait.

Oh my god. Leo is too cute...and is very playful!
My mom and I were watching "50 Great Things About Being Queer" when Leo was playing with his feather toy.
"Could Leo be gay?", I asked.
"Maybe....", my mom told me.
Don't worry, we were kidding.
Just the name sounds scary. *shudder* I HATE scary movies.
OMG! How long has it been since you guys have seen The Lion King? The movie, that is. GO WATCH IT. Or at least watch the part where Timon "dresses in drag and does the hula." THE. FUNNIEST. THING. EVER. It's so funny I actually couldn't laugh. We rewound it about 5 times.
