re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza Fan Thread

I wonder if it would be of use. I'm pretty new to the Wikipedia idea anyway, but if you Google his name, the official site (with anything and everything related to him) pops right up.

re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza Fan Thread

I just joined. That was way too simple. I could write anything I wanted right now.

It's true what you said about Google, but I love Wikipedia, because if you type in something (for research, say) you get ONE article, instead of having to sift through a million results. It's good for lazy people, but maybe not so great for accuracy.

It's an online encyclopedia sort of thing. The only thing I'd heard of it until recently was when professors would say that it was unacceptable as a reference for classwork.

He's so adorable.

I wonder if he knows how adorable he is.

I was thinking about changing my avatar back to me, but I don't think I will. He's so much cuter than I am.

re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza Fan Thread

He's much cuter than almost everybody. In fact, I think he's almost cuter than a kitten. Almost.

I'm sure he's got plenty idea of how adorable he is, but he's so humble - which is even cuter.

Agreed. I don't know anyone who can pull off a cupcake that well.

But kittens are pretty cute. I want one.

re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza Fan Thread

I just educated my friend about Raul! He saw my AIM profile and was like "So who's this Raul guy?" Then I told him!
It was wierd, because we had been listening to Taboo earlier today as we cleaned our room for Hebrew school (I forced him), but he didn't realize. But now he's going to check it out!

re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza Fan Thread

I was telling a friend of my mom's about him last night (random, don't ask) and I was like "oh, this guy who's in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang." She's into finding great actors, and I had compared him to Johnny Depp (who she LOVES) and asked what his name was. So I was like "uh, his name's Raúl Esparza."

".... WHO?"

I lent her Taboo.

My Facebook photo is he and I right now; last time I did that, everyone was like "gah, who's the hot man in your picture?!?!?!" It was kind of amusing, since people thought he was my boyfriend, or something. They knew no better!

^^And by "it", I mean "him".

He is very cute!I would say cuter than a kitten, because they scratch.
Sometimes I feel that we're the only ones who think he's attractive in anyway. I tried to show my friends pictures and they were just like "Broadway World? You're obsessed." 'Twas sad.

nah, I know a lot of people who just don't find him attractive at all. Whatever floats the proverbial boat.

Don't you wish!

You totally just refuted what I said right after you, if that makes any sense.

Now I'm just all confuzzled!

Oh, how nice THAT would be. heh. Guys would be like "oh, so should I be jealous?" You know, arm around me, etc, etc. My response was something like "trust me, he's not interested."

re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza Fan Thread

Wow. Comparing him to Depp. That's major. But I think you're totally right. The thing I love most about Raúl and Johnny is their diverse body of work. I think that really proves how talented an actor is when he plays a variety of characters.

(I can't wait for Corpse Bride, by the way. I love Tim Burton!)

He should date more of his fans. Ha!

Wait. I mean Raúl should date more of his fans. Not Tim Burton. Ew.

Eta~ Emcee:
Well, I said that no one thinks he's attractive right after you said your friends do, but I didn't know you had posted that, so it was wierd.

Heehee, reading what you just wrote and looking at your avatar is making me laugh, because it's simliar. Except disturbing. Ohhhhkay, bedtime for me.

re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza Fan Thread

Exactly, I meant it in terms of versatility; they're both actors who are constantly reinventing themselves, and I'd probably put them about equal on the the talent scale. Watching them, you just don't feel like they're acting - they put so much into their work.

*weighs options* Raúl Esparza. Tim Burton. hmmmmmm. re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza Fan Thread The fans would create QUITE the romatic plethora!

I must admit that I am very undereducated about Depp. I've only seen two of his movies, but I do enjoy him. I like Raul better, though.

:-O

You two must go catch up on the awesomeness (I think I made that word up) that is Johnny Depp!

I kind of don't want Raúl to do movies. I like him on the stage.

re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza Fan Thread

I don't really care what he does, as long as I get to see him! Has he ever done a solo concert? I'm guessing not...
*sigh* I wish I had been at Chitty yesterday. That would have been beyond belief.

re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza Fan Thread

He's done like... one movie - the one that's listed as "upcoming" in his bio. One of the things I love about him is that he is a TRUE stage actor; isn't using the stage as a stepping-stone, and doesn't really WANT to do those other things... though, truth is, you can't exactly make a living JUST doing theatre anymore. But he's not one I think we have to worry about losing to the glitz and glamour.

I wish he'd do a one-man cabaret, or something.
