Oh good lord!
And he'd do it with tact, too. The saddest part is that the image in my head is QUITE vivid.

I am enjoying these pictures entirely too much. The world needs more Raúl.

We should bring this idea up to him sometime. Haha.
"I'm bitter and twisted. Why, I'm a sack of LEMONS!"
Oh, God - I'd LOVE to see the look on his face at that. As a fly on the wall, not the asker, of course.

Haha. I might be a bit too scared, as well. I wouldn't want him thinking I'm a freak.
He seems pretty fearless when it comes to roles. I can't wait to see what he takes on after Chitty. Not that I want to imagine Chitty ending.
Well, his contract is for a year. I don't really see him extending, since he could have any role he wanted.
Totally. Fearless. They should all be so uninhibited.

He'll probably be sick of the uber sweetness of the role by next year. If he isn't already.
I really hope he isn't bored out of his skull already.
Apparently he's afraid of heights, which I find totally adorable. But once, someone told me that if he threw up on me, I'd think it adorable - so, take what you will!

I hope not. The first two times I saw the show he was just so giggly and playfull and just adding new things here and there. But the last time I saw the show he just seemed sad and tired. I'm sure it was just a bad day, though. "You Two" is my favorite song in the show and I love when he is giggly during it.
Heights. That really is adorable! And I'm sure if he threw up on you you would take perfect care of him!
No two performances of his are EVER the same. He just keeps mixing up tiny little nuances, so I guess that's one way to keep it exciting(ish). The performance as a whole has taken a nice arc, though, and seems to have found its niche. It was a bit all over the place toward the beginning.
I loooove You Two. It's just so... CUTE. I love the part after it where he goes "GOODY!!" Last time I went, the new thing was Sign Language at the "I think I'm perfectly capable of staring. my. own. car."
And of course I would! But let's hope that never happens.

Guh. I could think of a million things I love about him in the show. Like, the dancing on the cake? Such a cute way to try and steal the scene.
Oh question - during "Truly Scrumptious" when he is in the car. Is he wearing a shower cap?
I LOVE THE CAKE PART. He used to do a little salsa dance, before he hurt his legs.
I'm not sure what the thing on his head is. I guess it's some old-fashioned sun protection device? It looks so ridiculous!

So ridiculous! But I love it!
Oh, and thanks so much for sending me that audio last night. I'm in the process of sending 4/20/05 to you right now. Sorry it took me so long. My internet is about to bite the dust.
*yawn* Good afternoon, everyone.
That picture is...oh my.
The shower cap is curayzy! SO random. Not really, but still.
Okay, so question: in "Gimme A Freak" is that him who goes up really high towards the end (I think)? It's insane.

We'll have to wait for em. I can't answer that question. :/
It is indeed! Sort of sickeningly impressive.
I love the sack of lemons outfit. A LOT.

ME TOO!
Outfits like that shouldn't be confined to the stage.
(Thanks for the vid!)
My sister just walked in and saw me skimming past the picture and said "WHO is that and WHAT is he wearing??!"
That high note is definitely sickeningly impressive. I don't think I can even sing that high!
Can you IMAGINE if he walked outside wearing that outfit?! *jaw on floor* *blinkblink* yeah...
I have to find the video link to it, but did you hear the story about the Raúl/Rosie spat? They apparently had it out during rehearsals one day, and he got so pissed off that he walked out in full costume. I'll see if I can find the video of him describing it; it used to be on the Tony website.
Did you like it, greatdct? He's such a good little dancer!
This costume:
Damn. It's not online anymore. I *may* have it on disk somewhere, but if I do, it's at school. I'll send it to you when/if I find it.

Wow. I think I might have heard about that but I never saw the video. I wonder what they were fighting about. I would have loved to see him walk out in that costume, though. Props to him for sticking to what he believes in.
I haven't watched the video yet. I'm getting ready to go out so I'll probably have to wait until tonight. I'm excited, though!
The video isn't of the actual argument, but it was a short interview and he was talking about how/why it happened. Video footage of the fight DOES exist, but it's probably under tight wraps. It was some directorial issue, I think; I heard one interview where he talks about the way the musical just went so far off course that nobody had any idea what was going on anymore. At last year's Gypsy of the Year competition, part of Taboo's skit was a little re-enactment of it, crown tossed and all.
Be excited. Be VERY excited.
