Posted: 10/29/05 at 4:03pmI'm soon off to my evening activity. Have an amazing time everyone seeing the show and talking with Raul! I can't wait to hear all about it. I'll be envisioning Chitty all night.

Thanks.

It's always frustrating figuring clothing out. Do you have options?

Posted: 10/29/05 at 4:13pmNot really. I need to do some shopping. I don't want to be overdress or underdressed. I just... I have no idea!
#6579a complex fellow
Posted: 10/29/05 at 4:15pm:-/ What about something along the lines of corduroy pants and a nicer, possibly simple, three quarter or long sleeve shirt since it's cold out.

Posted: 10/29/05 at 4:20pmI could do that. I wanted to wear a skirt, but it's CHILLY. I may just end up wearing jeans.
#6581a complex fellow
Posted: 10/29/05 at 4:29pmIt is chilly for a skirt. But if you're willing to brave the cold for Raul, go for it.

Posted: 10/29/05 at 4:30pmheh, not really for him. He's not interested. Meeting people for the first time and all, though. I should look nice!
#6583a complex fellow
Posted: 10/29/05 at 4:37pmYea, I didn't mean that he might be interested. It was Raul in the sense of the whole Raul-themed night. A skirt probably isn't necessary for meeting people, but maybe something slightly fancier than jeans.

No need to dress up for me! Ok, I'm going to run and pick up a book from the library. I mean seriously, it's Halloween weekend, and I have a five page paper due on Monday that was assigned yesterday. It shouldn't be too hard, but...don't the professors have lives?
I might be a little late, but I should still be able to get one ticket at about 6:15ish, right?

Posted: 10/29/05 at 4:41pmSure, or we'll wait for you.

Posted: 10/29/05 at 4:50pmOh, no need to wait for me...I'm sure you'll see me or I'll see you in the theater if I don't get there in time. I'll probably wear something very boring, but don't take it personally. See you then!!

It's lonely.
Is anyone here?

WTF?!

Posted: 10/29/05 at 11:23pmNope, he didn't come out. And I'm surprised that I'm the first one home. Ah well. We gave him great entrance applause and a nice 5 person standing ovation...nothing. And we waited an ungodly amount of time. Had to be way over an hour. Nope. No Raúl. They said he came out during shows today (which I didn't think he did) so maybe he was making up for not coming out tonight. Whatever. I guess I can take comfort in the fact that I was not waiting alone. Sigh...

That's very disheartening! I have to meet this man. Grrr...
How was the show otherwise? Did he acknowledge your applause?

We clapped. Other people clapped. Oh well.
The show was still fun.
He's so cute.

The show was good, no technical problems or falling booster seats. Julies Barnes was in as Truly and was much better than the last time I saw her. I miss Marc, but Jan was working for the money. I'm not sure if he reacted to the applause because I was kinda distracted by listening to see if it was contagious: a little, but not really. I've got work to do tonight and my roommate is back home, so I'll be up being studious and watching lame movies. I'll check back and see if I missed something important or was just plain wrong. I'm in the process of thawing out my lower half. Skirt and open heels + freezing outside for extended amounts of time = bad things. Very bad things.
ETA: Hey, Em. Stop being so positive. You're only happy because you'll see him and EVERYONE on Monday. But I'm not bitter. Right!
