Making a cameo here just b/c as I said on the main board Raul really blew me away tonight. I admitted he had talent, but..wouldn't call myself one of his hugest fans, thinking he's that amazing, etc. Think I'm there after tonight. He just put so much drama and feeling into that song, and the notes...ahh. And tonight really featured some amazing performances, so it says a lot that I think his was the best of all.

I would really look forward to seeing him live in a dramatic musical.

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

Raúl is sneaky that way. Makes you a fan whether you want to be or not.

Oh. My. God. Raul blew the roof off that place! Had chills and sweats at once. Mind blowing. I knew that would be a great song for him and he'd do great, but I mean really....

Forgot to say I'd kill to have that on CD or DVD. Thank God that movie about Friends in Deed was after that, because I doubt I'd have paid attention much to anyone right after him.

I won! But that's because I jumped over the last three steps.

Did Broadway Beat or BC/EFA or the Elvis Costello fan club or anyone tape this performance?

Yay Emcee!

(Hehe, I was just sorting laundry and Chitty confetti fell out of my sweater.)

I think Broadway Beat was interviewing people AFTER the show. They got Patrick, Anthony and Raul, that I could see. There should be a LOT of photos coming up, though.

haha, speaking of Raul looking weird, he looks really stoned in my picture with him. Granted, it was like the fifth photo in a row he had to take, but he has that deer-in-headlights look. haha.

Okay, Getty images definitely has one of Raúl's pictures labeled "Patrick Wilson". Clearly they look nothing alike. And it's just that one picture, all the others are right. Dummies.

I not surprised she won...she's a cheater! Kidding. Seriously, though my feet are killing me, it was so very worth it. But I noticed that Getty images had many pics of people like Raul, but none of Nellie McKay (that was her name right?) or Justin Bond. I'm not upset by that, just curious.

And c'mon, Raul had "crazy eyes" during most of the song - granted, I LOVE his crazy eyes, but it made me laugh. A bit glad he didn't move around too much, b/c as much as I love and respect that man, I didn't want his spit on me. a complex fellow

Patrick has a decisive Cuban-ness to him, orange. I mean, don't YOU notice it? And they have more pictures of him because he's prettier!

Chrys, I don't think he was *actually* stoned. He was acting perfectly normal. He just gets that deer-in-headlights look in pictures sometimes. He forgets to smile, and his eyes get huge. The crazy eyes during the song WERE a bit much, but hey, that's what he does. It's better than SOMEONE who (a) has to read his lyrics and (b) closes his eyes when he isn't reading. Maybe Adam should take some crazy eye lessons.

See, I love him, but that's not something I'd really want either. Sorry, Raul.

Sorry Emcee.
Thinking of Raul led me to the vat of vulgarity.
You are so pretty and he is so cute.
It's a pure love and I do respect that. :)

See, for you, it CAN lead to something vulgar. Which, hey, if I was physically equipped to swing that way, I'd want to, too!

I'll let you know when the wedding is. (And thank you!)

I swear I meant nothing vulgar by sprinkle.
I'm not that clever.
I do think sprinkle is a delicate way of putting it.
Emcee what flowers will you have at the wedding?

Sure, Glebb. What sorts of flowers do people have at weddings?

Roses are a classic.

Raul spit sounds messy.

And I'm off to a job interview *fingers crossed*
