I just love that he doesn't tower over me. He's just a cuddly man, what can I say?

Adam's hugs are really... strong. I like it.

And now I know why a certain datalounge post exists -- that poster boy was hot!

The cool thing about shorter men, is being on or near eye level with them. I love that.

It just makes me less nervous.

On Monday night, I was like "hey, Adam!" and he turned around, but looked really confused for just a quick split second, because he had to look down to find me. *giggle*

"CHITTY will close having lost its entire $15 million investment, making it one of the biggest flops in the history of Broadway."

Margo said this...

...can you guys believe this?

Oh, well. At least we still have Raúl!

Any word on his next project?

I'm not surprised. It's one of the most expensive shows ever. The bigger they come, the harder they fall, alas.

Anyway, no. And I don't suspect there will be for a while. He seems to like his secrets.

Well, if you consider things like inflation, as well as comparison to the current costs of opening a show on Broadway ($15million may be one of the most expensive, but it's slowly becoming an average), I don't think it would be THE biggest flop. And with some of the shows that are rumored to be opening in the near future, I have a feeling it's not going to hold that title for very long.

My TB test was negative. Yay! I start work Monday morning.

Yay!

Raul needs to not be in any more flops. And by not be in any more flops, I mean be in a show that sees the end of his contract.

There's a production of Cabaret going on locally tonight and tomorrow! Yaaay! I've never seen Cabaret. I'm calling to reserve a ticket in a few minutes.

For some reason, I think the show closing before his contract ending almost is a positive thing. Then, he's the only one anyone will ever remember in that role and some mediocre actor won't ruin it for future audiences.

That's kind of true.

And he gets out before his brain cells are TOTALLY depleted. This is hard to word without making it sound horrible, I think the whole Raul-as-Caractacus thing may have gone better if he were less intelligent. He'd still be adorable and silly, but his efforts wouldn't have fallen flat. The fact that he's *such* a smart actor kind of backfired, all in all, I think.

i totally agree, Em. I'm still glad he did it though. I HATE it when actors get pigeon-holed into playing certain types of roles. And even though I can't wait him to get a role he can really sink his teeth into, I'm gonna miss his little Bamboo butt wiggle. Haha.

I, too will miss Raul's butt-wiggle. It was the thing that first endeared me to him.
Does he have a lisp??

Er, yeah, watching it again. I never thought I'd be mad at Patrick Wilson, but him interrupting Raúl's song was NOT cool. Bad Broadway.com video editors.
